For the people asking questions on the house, I ll try to explain it. If things get confusing please understand that I have to try to translate terms I am unfamiliar with in my own language let stand in English and that things do work different inhere sometimes. As you all know I did sign the 'temporary' paperwork aka the compromis on a house a bit over 3 months ago. There is nothing temporary on the paperwork however, it just isn't signed in the big book of you own this and they have some time to check if everything is ok, and no one lied, has debt to the government or other people stuff like that. The compromis stated that they have 4 months to get everything ok. Normally the signing date for the akte or the official paperwork would be the 24th of June... The sellers are trying to buy an appartment on the same day as they are selling the house. However they both are under some kind of supervision called 'begeleiding'. The woman is also on some kind of legal supervision called 'bewindvoering'. Because the woman is 'onder bewindvoering', they can only buy the appartment if the council judge agrees with it. Sadly the council judge is being very slow on making the decision whether they can or can't buy. At this moment I don't have a clue when or if the paperwork on the house is ever going to get signed. If I could choose and it wouldn't cost me that much to just have it cancelled I would do it. Sadly the cost for cancelling the compromis would be 10% of the house price. I checked if I could cancel it without having to pay the fine after the 4 month period, but sadly that is not the case. If I read the paperwork correctly, I can send them a certified letter to make them do what they promissed and it could be cancelled after that, having them pay the fine. However I am going to have to check that with the notary. Combine that with problems at work, and you can imagine the fun of it. So I am going to make up a plan A, B and probably C and D too. The only good point about it is that I am no longer feeling this is my fault. This shit just happened to me and I can't help it in any way, I can just try to respond as good as possible.

I am also offended Dmom said I just want to have control. I told her someone should manage things. Dbro won't even go past the waiting room. The next appt. will be goofed because it is on my schedule. So dmom won't make one and wait for me or make it early and goof me because I have 1 hr down and another 1/2 hr. back to the office (I actually drive past it to get her erg,) I would prefer she not take the bus. She misses tons due to lack of focus and hearing then forget 1/2 of what she heard.
I totally get you on this. My Dbro is in Boston but can work anywhere there is wifi, he rarely goes to an office. I only ask him to help with the really big stuff, like when I was in the hospital, my dad fell and had 3 brain bleeds and was in ICU. My mom's sister helped with my mom. I point blank said, when Dad and I come home, you are needed. I cannot tkae care of them and me. My dad's brain bleeds made him belligerent, confused and constantly falling, I was constantly falling and my mom saw my dad like this and became a neurotic mess of confusion. I begged my brother to help, how was I supposed to get dad off the floor multiple times a day while he's confused and trying to punch me? How was I supposed to convince mom that I am not trying to "kill" my dad" Never responded to anything. Very hard to forgive.

my Dmom will not let us into her specialist's appts., even though she is so easily confused and cannot explain what he said after she comes out. Useless, I respect her wish, but the appt. ends up useless. Once I am better, I am insisting on going, because, I don't bring this up often, but she has all the indicators that it is time for hospice. I won't bring that word specifically up, but I'll be on him like white on rice about prognosis, putting her through tons of unnecessary tests that are pointless because they are always "worse", then why on Earth does she have to keep doing them? On hospice, his care could remain the same, but the frequent testing would have to stop. My mom would thrive on Hospice. grrrr. I totally get the "sandwich generation" now, lol

fw - sorry you are having to go through so much with your mom. I'm sure it's hard to be pulled in two directions, one with your family and one with taking care of your mom. I will have to take a picture of my lawn for you, it REALLY is all weeds. Like DH says, it all looks green and good when its cut!

hikr/fw - does it surprise anyone that us with dogs have funny poop stories? The first thing my dogs do when they get a new stuffed toy is to eat the eyes off of it. Guess what I found "staring" at me when I was picking up dog poop one day?!!! It was so funny that I even took a picture of it to send to DH. (I know, I have a 12 year old sense of humor)

pinetree - I hate to even tell DH that the new mower is fun and twice as fast as the old one. I still wish we would have just kept fixing the old one though and not spent the money. If your used to what you have, you don't know the difference. I am the woman who had dial-up until a year and a half ago.

SD - Your doing a great job on the purging and organizing. (how do you eat an elephant?) I love to purge. I jokingly tell people that one day I am going to end up with 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 plates, ect.

    Hi to everyone else!

    Friday
1 - finish cutting front yard
    2 - dailies
3 - take Beastie to park

OK, my bike needs a seat, pontoons, handle bars and painted yellow, other than that its kinda hard to sit on but works pretty good! lol I think I can keep up pretty good, I can see it if I close my eyes

That is the pie baker thing I was trying to tell you about. You put a pie on top and put it in the oven to cook, that way the juice won't fall on the bottom of the oven. This was my Grandma's

Oh pinetree I have that bike but it didn't come w/ the pie baker seat! lol Put it in the kiddie pool and do " Motor boat, motor boat,go so fast, motor boat motor boat, step on the gas!!! remember that one. (We used to twirl smaller kids by 1 arm and 1 leg. Not sure why we all didn't have concussions constantly?)
Seriously, for all the sales and estate sales I go to I have never heard of that or remember seeing one. I just use a kaput small baking sheet.

Rabbit-thank you, just perfect for me level at the moment. My sad mind made them googly eyes that follow you!
I took Mikey to pick up DD at the grocery store. We call all food places the Nums store like isnt that delicious nummy. (its a had kids thing)/ So every time someone came out w/ a cart full of food I thought he would jump through the car window. I asked him "do you think they have hot dogs or burgers? He's a rottweiler beagle so translation giant foodie.

So Dmom goes w/ Dbro and they were dumping the dog and traveling 5 hrs. up north. Sweet revenge? just desserts? It took the usual 2 1/2 hrs. because she saw her pacemaker lady who checks all the readings and then the Dr.
So I call her and apparently everything is working great and she's not i heart failure? Her sodium is a little less as is her potassium.
Reality-those WERE last times results, the blood work won't be back for a few days and she won't call. Now they don't have her scheduled until October?
She says the pacemaker hasnt changed anything. Except that her legs aren't swelling to the point she can't walk? Of course Dbro didn't go in and has taken off up North. I guess I can call Monday? irritating at best. Just so the moron doesnt have to pay a 2 day kennel fee.

So,I tried to set up my laptop finally because this desktop is apparently letting too
many viruses and such into the network. I did the first part but couldnt get on the internet. I asked DD to be treated to a barrage of how bad windows 10 was and then discovered it 8. So then she gets all over me about how bad it is. Like I am personally responsible. So she has me feeling crappy about that and myself consequently. I was actually feeling good I got as far as I did-silly me. Yesterday she managed to do it w/ a talk about phones. Found out the network doesn't reach outside which is the ONLY reason I got the laptop. To sit outside on summer days and watch movies and shop. lol

Your right-today could have been a bit better. I dumped a can w/ a bit of Coke and 2 giant black ants were in there.Thank goodness I didnt finish the last little bit like usual!!!
