The tax stuff has been delivered. And I wasn't really serious about not getting anything else done but that's the way it's turning out. For some reason I have a stubborn headache today. I took a nap and it didn't help. I don't like to take meds but I finally took a Tylenol with a very large bottle of water--just in case I'm a bit on the dehydrated side.

If I feel better, I'm hoping to make some breakfast foods for the week. I also want to make some universal muffin mix and universal "bisquik" mix. Hopefully, my head will settle down soon.

    Kind regards,

    Sally

My headache settled down a little and I got a few things taken care of. I made two loaves of applesauce bread and the universal muffin and "bisquik" mixes. After church today I'm making a big Japanese lunch for the family and then in the afternoon, I'll start a small checklist.

    1) Get blueberries to freeze for smoothies (on sale at Aldi)
    2) Make waffles for the freezer
    3) Make applesauce squares for more breakfast options
    Bonus task: Make blueberry muffins

    Have a blessed Sunday, ladies.

    Kind regards,

    Sally

Still need to jump back in here. I haven't been getting much done that's productive for weeks now. Or at least it doesn't seem like it. And I had such good intentions around New Year's.

    I'll start small on Monday:

    1. Hang new stained glass window.
    2. Start cilantro in AeroGarden.
    3. Track every bite of food I eat. (Okay, that one will be really hard.)
    4. Make a WW recipe for my lunches this week.
    5. Come up with a healthy supper that meets WW guidelines.

Didn't get a list posted yesterday. Went to church, had breakfast, mopped, made chocolate pies, and then my college roommate who was in town came over and stayed for 9.5 hours. Boy, did we talk.

The daffodils are gorgeous! I have 2 big vases of them in the house. This week is warm till Friday when the high will be 48 and the lows for a few nights will be the mid-20s.

pinetree, I opened up some windows yesterday too! And I'm glad you got to enjoy the sunshine.

RABBIT, I can recommend some beautiful places in Georgia that would be great retirement sites. We have beaches and mountains and everything in between.

Well, it's a new week and a new chance to get some things done.

    For Monday:

    1) Mix up and chill dough for Valentine's cookies
    2) Work with DH on some finances
    3) General resetting of the house

    Have a good Monday, everyone.

I got the blueberries as well as the waffles prepped and into the freezer. I made the waffles around dinner time so my freezer stash isn't as big as I'd like. It made a lovely meal, though.

I didn't get the applesauce squares or the muffins made so they're on today's list.

    1) Chiropractor at 10:15
    2) Bake muffins and applesauce squares
    3) Shop for a few groceries

I'm working down all of my food stores so many of the groceries I need are single items to complete a particular dish. I have a lot of food on hand right now, despite having depleted my pre-made breakfast supply.

    Happy Monday, ladies.

    Kind regards,

    Sally

Hi everyone!! Hope you are all feeling better and have a skip in your step!! Well I'm hoping anyway!!

    My list for today
write down everything I eat and drink, gaining weight need to see if I am drinking too much
    open windows, air out house
    sit in the warm sunshine
get DH to put away blankets and pillows

The weather here has been so weird, its way too warm, things are starting to leaf out and its way to early, I lost almost all my fruit last year, I really need it to can this year.

Been opening the windows and airing out the house, we havent had colds or flu's so flushing out the stale air and any bugs waiting to jump out and make someone sick.

Been trying to stay positive, hoping after starting rehab on wed, I wil feel alot better. Its hard sitting around not being able to do much, its amazing what can bring your heart rate up.

I love the sound of blueberry muffins and waffles and, boy I sure wish I could eat some of that stuff again, well maybe later on I will!

    Have a wonderful day!

We have a lovely coastline that has very popular vacation and retirement sites. St. Simon's Island and Jekyll Island are great. Back in the early 1900s Jekyll was a very elite vacation spot for the very rich from up North. It's quite historical. And we have some lovely areas in the north Georgia Mountains. We have rivers for tubing and white-water rafting. There are also many historical sites in the northern part of the state and some in other parts. I live in middle Georgia but it's miserably hot and humid here in the summer, as it is in the southern parts of the state. Middle Georgia is, however, awfully pretty in the spring! Atlanta and its surrounding counties are very vibrant, growing areas.

So many people think we never have cold weather but we do. It's just not usually as cold as lots of places in the US.

    3/5, so not real bad.

I hung the new window but might have to add another hook so it hangs better. It's big and I don't want it to move around much.

I tracked my food and made Steak au Poivre for supper using a South Beach Diet recipe that also works for WW. It was yummy.

I didn't get my lunches made but had some WW Skinny Chimichangas in the freezer so enjoyed one of those. They need to be used up. Only one left so I'll try to remember to eat it tomorrow.

I did clean and rearrange the fridge. I hate the new arrangement so might have to change that, but at least it's clean and the pickle jars are no longer sticking to the shelf.

Really need to get a couple AeroGardens started, so will have to have those on the list for tomorrow. At least I got the tomato gardens put up so the dog can't eat the tomatoes anymore.

    Tuesday:

    1. Start new cilantro garden.
    2. Make something for WW lunches.
    3. Make quiche cups for WW breakfasts.
    4. Wash a bunch of cast iron.
    5. Put the first coat of sealer on the other 'new' vintage stained glass window. I cut the cardboard for that this morning to cover the table to catch drips, so that's ready to go now.

I'm back, too. Feeling much better, though not quite there, yet. I did get my dailies done today, so I feel good about that.

    Tomorrow:

    1. Go to the discount grocery store.
    2. Put groceries away.
    3. Make banana bread or muffins...I refuse to waste those bananas!

    Have a great day, Everyone!

Love this one! I won't start with today since it's towards the end of the day for me. However, here's my list for tomorrow. I'll likely be keeping my list by hand because I recently found out the only thing that has ever helped me stay organized -- color coding with highlighters. I highlight in pink if the thing didn't happen/was bad/etc, green if we're good to go, and blue for anything else that I need to bring attention to. So I'll probably keep that habit up with this
