2/3 today. No joy on the laundry. I just couldn't face the stairs.

    Tomorrow:

    1. One load of laundry.
    2. Bake a loaf of bread to go with dinner.(Ham & bean soup)
    3. Clip a few more claws.

    Have a great day, Everyone!

    Ta-done!

    Not that much.

~made a new WW recipe for beef roast for supper. Tasty!
~got the antique stained glass hung in the bedroom window. I just love it! Worth every penny, and I wish I had room for some more.
~made an appointment with a realtor friend to show us some houses Saturday. No idea what will become of that.

pinetree, I'm so glad everything is working out with your new dr. and your rehab! Thanks for the birthday wishes for my DD. 23 years old----I can't believe it. Time just goes by so fast.

Didn't get much done yesterday except some errands. We ran into DH's brother and his wife and we ended up going out to eat a late lunch/early supper with them. It was a lot of fun. Then we ran a couple of more errands and the day was pretty much done.

DD and her boyfriend are going to Atlanta this weekend to visit our DS, so today I'm putting together a care package for him.

    For Friday:

    1) Make soup for DS DONE
    2) Bake Valentine's cookies for my kids to enjoy this weekend---my dough is chilling right now
    3) Finish packing the care package for DS
    4) Make sure all our really warm clothing is washed up for the coming cold stretch
    5) Reset the downstairs
    6) Feed my backyard birds

Have a good and warm Friday, ladies.

I'm tired. Dog #1 had diarrhea in his crate in the middle of the night so I had to clean up his crate/blankets and bathe him. He seemed fine this morning but after I got home from work both him and dog #4 had diarrhea. So since they are both acting fine I just took a sample to the vets to have them test it but it came back negative for any parasites. They told me to make them chicken/rice to eat and to just watch them. I really just want to go to bed and sleep. I hope this is over by tomorrow and the other dogs don't pick up whatever these two have.

We're having friends over tomorrow and I'm making Chicken and Rice Burritos so I just cooked the chicken and rice tonight since I had to make it for the dogs anyway. One less thing to do tomorrow I guess. It's supposed to be horribly cold this weekend so I'm not planning on leaving the house.

    Saturday
    1 - clean up house
    2 - finish making food
    3 - laundry

3/3 today. The bread was a big hit! It was a new recipe, and it will definitely be made again. So easy and it had a really nice chewy crumb. I had a moment of panic when my beans wouldn't get soft, but the handy-dandy pressure cooker solved that problem.

No list for tomorrow. Hubby and I are going out for lunch instead of dinner since it's supposed to snow(and because there are fewer people in the restaurant at lunch time on Valentines Day).

Have a lovely Valentines Day, Everyone!

    Jen

    Ta-done:

~Made another WW recipe, Spanish rice with chicken. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I'll be making it again.
~Spent some more time looking at houses online. We're only looking casually, so would have to find the perfect place at the right price, and there's not much on the horizon at the moment. The temptation to spend just a little bit more on a house is terrible.
~Spent some time being shocked after thinking about what we'd have on hand to outfit a complete second home, and realizing we could probably do it without buying much at all. And I thought I was doing so well purging.

Well, it's the Day of Love! DH and I might go out for a late breakfast or for lunch somewhere rather than dinner. Or we may not go anywhere--it's a gorgeous day and DH might want to grill something. This morning I got up early with Sadie the puppy and let DH sleep in, so that's a cheap gift from me to him.

Didn't get laundry done so that will be on today's list.

    For Saturday:

    1) Laundry
    2) Clean screened porch
    3) Make list of "cold weather" meals for the next few days
    4) Change inside cats' litter box

Everyone who is in the path of the storm Neptune, stay safe and warm.

I've got a huge to-do list today. I'll just grab three random items to get me started:

    1) Dishes
    2) Make baked goods (2)
    3) Organize stuff on my desk

    Time to get started!

    Kind regards,

    Sally
