Thanks, Pinetree. We successfully jumped through another hoop today so I hope it continues to go okay. The inspection is Thursday. We don't expect major problems but then that's why we have an inspector coming, to make sure we aren't missing something important.
I'm sorry I haven't been following this thread very closely lately. It's been a wild ride around here the past few weeks but things seem to be calming down a bit this week. Of course, it's only Monday so we have a lot of week left to get through. It should be interesting. I hope everyone is doing okay, that no one is getting any more storms, and the snow is melting nice and slow so no one gets flooding.

3/3 today. The baby is doing so much better! She was on a nasty antibiotic for an ugly bacteria, and we think it made her worse, so the vet gave us 3 new meds, a can of special food and gave her a shot for pain. She slept for 2 hours when we got home and now she's acting like herself again. I've been fighting to give her medicine for the last 5 days, because she hated it, and now I can just mix it into a spoonful of the special food and she gobbles it right down. The shot is supposed to last for 3 days, and I hope the new meds will kick in by then and she won't be hurting so much. I hadn't realized how much this was stressing me until she started playing this afternoon. Such a relief!
I don't have to go back to the endocrinologist again for 6 months.:fdance: I was a good girl and almost all my levels are good. I have to watch the calcium intake, but that's not too bad.
1. Spot clean the rugs. I am so glad I don't have wall to wall carpet anymore!
2. Spot clean the furniture.
3. One load of laundry.
4. Hug the kitty.
Have a lovely day, Everyone!

Jkuhns-glad the kitten is better. It's so worry some when they are little and losing fluids like that. How old? When we got the mom and 3 kittens last June the Mom was so emaciated from feeding them she has fur missing. It took a lot not to freak she had mange. But they are super healthy little guys now. I call them the league of cuteness and destruction.

RABBIT, isn't it good to be able to go outside?!
Jen, glad your baby is so much better, and so are you!
FW, keep on keeping on!
SD, hope the rest of your week is successful house-wise.
It's going to 81 today and tomorrow with some clouds but only a slight rain chance. Rain will come later in the week and be heavy for several days.

That's enough, I think. Have a wonderful day, everybody!

Jumped through another hoop for the bank today. Our income to debt ratio has pleased them and they wanted more paperwork which we hand-delivered to them, so now we're on the schedule for the appraiser. Better clean house. They will be coming soon because they have to have the completed appraisal back to the bank by 3/24. :yikes: Dreading this.
Next hoop, the inspection of the new house on Thursday.
03-10-2015, 07:27 PM
Just got an e from the realtor and we're through a couple more hoops. The sellers have turned the water on in the house and apparently everything seems okay. Hope they remembered to turn on the water heater. And the sellers also signed an addendum we had signed yesterday, so that little piece is all done now too.
I should be keeping track of all the crap we're having to wade through. We're in danger of being buried in paperwork, much of it needless.

4/4 today. The baby is sleeping beside me and has been happy and playful all day. Such a relief!
Pinetree, take things easy tomorrow and let us know how it goes, OK?
FW, the baby is about 8 months old now. She has had health issues since we got her 4 months ago, but it is looking good now.
ILC, I am so jealous of your weather! I can't wait to get outside and put my fingers in the dirt!
1. Go to Sharp Shopper. (discount groceries...my stock up trip)
2. Stop at the fabric store that's closing.
3. Make a new menu plan for the rest of the week...my oven ignition went out and I have to wait for the new part to be delivered on Thursday.

Gotta clean something today. The appraiser has to have the appraisal back to the bank by 3/24, so no doubt he/she will want to come look the place over soon.
03-11-2015, 12:19 PM
Got the dresser all cleaned up and now DH doesn't want it! He currently rummages through a laundry basket full of clean socks and underwear to get dressed and it drives me crazy. But he's happy, for some reason unknown to women...
Anyway, I can use the dresser for storage next to the sewing machine, or it might fit in my closet for T-shirts and things. We'll see.
For Wednesday (another 81 degree day):
1) Aldi and Tractor Supply for seed potatoes
2) Help DH plant potatoes
3) Continue cleaning garage
Have a happy and productive day, ladies.
