Mom's doing okay. Very tired, but she has chronic fatigue due to post-polio syndrome, so that's normal for her. She has nothing going on though, so she can rest. Husby is having lunch at her place, and I talked to her on the phone, so we're watching over her whether she likes it or not.
How are you doing?

SD, I hope your Mom is better soon. I know when my mom was alive we had a heck of a time with her not taking care of herself.
Pinetree, I love dehydrated pumpkin. I powder it and it re-hydrates really well when I want to make something with it. Makes it easy to sneak into other food, too.
I did 2/4 today. I didn't get the oat flour done or the bread made. Just not a good day.
1. Grind oat flour.
2. Make zucchini bread.
3. Take kitten to be fixed...and worry about her all day!
Have a fantastic day, Everyone!

SD - hope your mom recovers quickly.
ilc - that is horrible for your DH, he must dread this time of the year, if the pets are even bringing it in the house he can't get away from it.
pinetree - I've been just too busy/tired to get around to posting. Thanks for thinking of me though!
Monday I had a million things to do when I got home from work and started browning meat for the freezer, making HM sloppy joes for DH's lunches and making a salad and dinner when I noticed that the boarder dog was making humping motions. I thought "weird dog" and carried on with my work. About a 1/2 hour later I didn't notice him around, he is ALWAYS by me so I thought something is up. Found him kind of hiding in my bedroom and still doing the humping motion. I picked him up, took off his belly band (yes he wears one in the house 24/7) and his penis was out and wouldn't retract. So since this is a medical emergency had to get him right to the vet. I was thankful my vet agreed to see him and not make me drive the 25+ miles to the emergency vet. I really didn't need that though and in the middle of me having various things cooking on the stovetop!
Yesterday was our closing program at AWANA's, can't believe another year is over, it sure went fast this year. Today is my day off and I'm fighting a migraine so I don't know how much I'm going to accomplish but I'm going to try.
1 - make ribs for dinner
2 - clean bathrooms, wash all floors
3 - laundry

How's the doggy? Poor guy.
Mom just called to say she's driving herself downtown to get a haircut, so she's doing better. She's back to eating soft foods instead of liquids now and should be back to normal in a couple days. Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Sunday was sort of scary but could have been worse.
My biggest to-do is to stay on track with my eating. Things got out of control Saturday when we went out of town shopping and it was a snack food fiesta in the car all day long. Sunday was more of the same, being we were both so tired and then the whole ordeal with Mom, and Monday wasn't good either, still dealing with Mom. Not complaining at all, just sayin'. Yesterday I tracked every morsel and came in five points under my daily Points allowance. Today I was down three pounds since yesterday, which should tell you exactly how badly I had been abusing salty foods Saturday through Monday. I'm hoping this will be a good incentive for me to stay on track till next Monday when I weigh in again. I'm tired of not getting anywhere, especially since I'm paying for WW Online now. I can stay fat for free, so since it's costing me, I need to make it worth spending the money. Besides, I'm finding I really like their online tools.
Today I also hope to finish another color on the dreaded ragpoint rug. I hate that thing but I want to make it up, so I'm resisting the urge to put it away and let it become another UFO I don't need.
I hope we all have a great day!

SD, good to hear your mom is getting better.
RABBIT, that poor doggy. I hope everything is ok with him now.
Thanks for the kind wishes for my DH to feel better. It's a gorgeous time of year here but awful on the allergies---it's always a big topic of conversation wherever one goes because almost everyone is affected to some degree.
fw and Jen, hope you have a productive day.
pinetree, you have such a sweet spirit about your current situation.
Busy busy yesterday and never got to post here at FV. When I fell into bed last night I slept very soundly and long. It was great.
1) Go to memorial service
2) Get something into the crockpot for supper
3) Vacuum our bedroom
4) Vacuum downstairs
5) Clean toilets
6) Do some end-of-month financial figuring
Have a good day, ladies.

Yes, boarder dog is okay. Vet popped it back in, I guess a hair got wrapped around it.
fw - a belly band is for incontinent male dogs or ones who aren't housebroken. He is the latter.
It is a cloth band with elastic around the sides that wraps around the dogs belly and Velcro together on top. I also use not one but two (!) maxi pads inside. This way I don't have to change "diapers" every few hours, just once a day.
Still have to fold wash and clean another bathroom. I am never going to get the floors done today, I just can't get rid of this migraine.

Should have added........if this ever happens to your dog or someone's dog you know, get it to the vet immediately. They were telling me about people who waited 24 hours to 4 days! later and the damage was done. Then the dog would need corrective surgery. I think it's painful for the dog too.

Afternoon yep I am late!
RABBIT, so glad to see you, so sorry about the poor dog, I have never heard of that, thanks for the info! AM going to try a new pizza crust, this one is cream cheese, will let you know!
ilc, Thanks, Its hard to think of me having a sweet spirit, when sometimes i am So frustrated!! But, am trying to get along with it instead of fighting it.
Jen, Hows the baby doing? Is she home yet? I get so scared when they go in,. hopefully she is home sleeping in your lap!
Thanks for the idea on the pumpkin, I am doing to try it! I love pumpkin, and that would make some wonderful french toast or pancakes, plus would make more room in the freezer!
SD, I am doing well thank you for asking. Sounds like your Mom is doing alot better!
I was going to tell you , when you retire, do you know what kind of ins you will have? We have ins that we can only go to certain hospitals and only the ins, companys DRs. My hospital is over an hour away, so are the ER room, and the specialists. We have kaiser, you might want to look into that when finding a retirement home.
FW, hows your Mom doing?? Hope fine! WTG on the weight you are losing!! Hoping your DH finds a job here soon.

Pinetree-Dmom is doing excellent. We go for the second check on the devise tomorrow.
OH Rabbit-how annoying and also dangerous. I had a cat that ate fishing line in the garage and it was all the way though. I was scared to "fix" it for fear there was a hok somewhere. Nope just a big bill for a stoopid cat xray.
Never heard of that belly thingy. Mikey took a full year to train. I would have used that for sure!!!! Poor floor by the door. I was because he was kennel kept for the whole 8 mo. before I got him. Grass was a wonderful new thing here.
The whole day is shot from going to the market and yacking on here. DW emptied, steak dinner cooked.

Baby is home and doing just great! In fact she is officially on my s**t list! Just an hour ago, I caught her digging up my beets in the seed trays! As soon as she saw me, she ran. I put the covers back on. She's actually a little more hyper than usual, so I'm keeping a close eye on her. So things are getting back to normal. I finally got the zucchini bread made! I used some of the z-pineapple for this batch and it's definitely a big hit! I don't care for it just as-is, but as a baking flavor, it's outstanding. It's also really good in pancakes.
Pinetree, I'm just the opposite about the pumpkin. I'm the only one here who doesn't care for it. I still put the powder in a lot of things because it's so healthy for you, but I usually don't eat foods that are only pumpkin flavored.
1. One load of laundry.
2. Clean up pantry. Why, oh why does my pantry get so disorganized so quickly?!?
3. Try to get back up to the fabric outlet. One last time before it closes.
Have a fabulous day, Everyone!

Hit the Salvation Army for odds and ends I needed. I skipped the floor w/ it raining and the mud. The white tile is unrecognizable for paw prints. The tile is cement and came w/ the house.
