Well, it was almost as bad as it could be today, but I'm getting past it. I did get to the store to pick up a few odds and ends, but nothing else (aside from my dailies). Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
I do have a question for you all... how do I get my dishwasher to get my dishes clean? I'm using Cascade powder detergent, and vinegar as a rinse agent, but my dishes aren't really clean. I hate the film and greasy feel of them, and don't know how to fix it. Honestly, I don't think anything on the top rack even gets close to clean! Any suggestions?
1. Soak and shred some papers.
2. A little sewing and mending.
3. Rearrange appliance shelves. It's not set up well for me to get them easily.
Have a wonderful day, Everyone!

Is it clogged up.
Or is your pump going? How old is it?
When the water comes in for a wash does it chug. Mine was and Dh fixed a simple clog.
The unit before it was too old and the pump wouldnt cut it anymore so i gave in and replaced it.
Do you have hard water. Do you still have the manual? You can try and download the servicemens manual for repair using the serial number. Dh did that too.
And stupidly-nothing on the bottom is blocking the water right?

Jen, I hope that dishwasher can be fixed simply and easily and cheaply. I haven't had a dishwasher for 6 months now but we just don't want to spend the $$$ on one at this time.
Found really good buys on pork chops and roast beef yesterday so I bought up some for the freezer.
2) Reset den (daily thing)
3) Clean bathrooms
4) Package meat and put into freezer
5) Hang throw rugs outside to dry
6) Gather more items for donation
Have a good day, ladies.

Did everything of my list but grocery shopping (didn't get hungry though, so no problems there).
1. Went to a friend and gave her a hand with renovating her house. She bought a fixer upper 2 years ago and still isn't ready to move in, so the help was very welcome. Let's hope she makes it to move in by the end of the month.
2. Clean the floor in the living room.
3. Do the dishes.Disclaimer: European at the keyboard, unless precised, amounts are in EUR, any mistakes made because of a difference in politics, regulations or background are accidental not on purpose, please forgive me for them.

Haven't posted for a couple of days. Yesterday had a migraine and had volunteered to watch the boys so it was quite a feat to just get through the day.
1 - Target, Meijer
2 - shredded cheese for freezer, made hard boiled eggs
3 - general picking up of house
1 - dust
2 - wash all floors
3 - clean bathroom

FW, thanks for the input on the dishwasher: it's actually brand new, I don't think it's clogged, the pump is working with no chugging. I try really hard to avoid anything blocking other items, but it does have a top rack spray arm. I do have hard water(city water). I looked at the manual, and I think I'm doing everything they say. The dishes on the bottom rack get clean, but the top rack is just getting a greasy film. I think I'll call Frigidaire and ask what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'll add a little salt to the detergent.
Well, I went 2/3 today. I didn't get to the shelves, I was hurting and didn't want to start something I couldn't finish.
1. Go pick up a few groceries.
2. Rearrange the appliance shelves.
3. Print out a few recipes that we liked and add to binder.
Have a great day, Everyone!

1. Check the contents of the fridge. Anything that will go bad soon needs to be eaten, frozen, whatever.
2. Pick up the papers from the realtor.
3. Do some grocery shopping. (Might seem countra productive, but I do need some other things )
4. Something will come up I am sure.Disclaimer: European at the keyboard, unless precised, amounts are in EUR, any mistakes made because of a difference in politics, regulations or background are accidental not on purpose, please forgive me for them.

Got errands done, and managed not to assault an idiot who walked up to me to insult me by asking who I got to make the beaded bib I was wearing on my jean jacket. I'm sick of people assuming I'm not capable of doing something like that. I guess I must look stupid and/or untalented. OTOH, I guess I should be grateful if that's my worst problem. Still, it's one reason I don't wear my beaded stuff much. The worst people are the ones who assume that since I'm wearing velvet and bright shiny things, I don't mind if they pet me. Guess again. However, I just file this kind of thing away in my mental file for when I travel, under "How NOT to Be A Tourist."
Picked up some bargains at the grocery store and managed to hold myself back from buying up a cartload of close-out Wheat Thins at .68/box. We go through a lot of those when we travel, but I only bought eight boxes. Go, me! Got three cartons of eggs for .99/dozen too, which is fairly cheap here. So now we have seven and a half dozen outdated eggs. Guess what's going to be on our menu for the next few weeks? LOL. Maybe I'll scramble some and freeze them.
Got three puzzles at GW. They're creeping back into the house faster than I would like. It took me years to get Husby to get rid of most of our puzzles. Now we're backsliding, and he still doesn't do any puzzles.

SD, I can so sympathize! I very rarely wear any of my beadwork because I hate being pawed. The only exception is the bead shows...At those it's like shaking hands to fondle someone's beadwork, but at least most of them are polite about it.
3/3 today, but it was hard. I'm not doing very well with the Fibro lately. No list for tomorrow, I'll be in the yard and garden. Hubby has my boxes done, so I'll be planting. There's a peach tree to plant and some radishes and carrots.
Have a good weekend, Everyone!
