Rabbit.....what a lucky boy Bomba is that you adopted him and showed him what love is! One of my 2 dogs I have had in my adult life was left in a box on Christmas Eve on a co worker of my moms porch. Had a note with him that said "please take care of me" collar on him too?? He took him to the vet and I was cutting another of her coworkers hair and he told me the pup was on his last day at the vet....they would be putting him to sleep. I could not cut that guys hair fast enough to then run to the phone and call the vet. They still had him and I immediately went down and got him cause I was going to find him a really good home! You all know how that goes and we had him almost 15 years and 2 blown knees we had fixed later.

ok,I lost the post and forgot most of what I wanted to say.
Bronchitis is in overdrive tonight even though I just slept 3 hrs.!

Rabbit-so terribly sorry about the vet news. Dh didnt get the cast after all. Oh yeah I went down and beat the winds. The weather at Wm. B was better. It was like traveling back into armegeddon at 1 p.m. I had told DH it was a weather dependent trip today. I rained real hard before 3 and then cleared. The winds hit hard later and the sky-oosh. evil clouds and colors. We only flickered once that I know of. Just got all the darn clocks reset.lol

Bernice-I dont mind medical stuff I just am thinking too much about the volume of the cleaning and injections. They are saying its covered. We'll see. Gee I'll charge it all and get gas points! Sadly-i'm serious.

hugs to everyone else I am too worn out to remember right now.

For now he is the same old Bomba, ruler of the pack.
I'm glad he's feeling better. I had a dog as a kid with very poor kidney function, she had several years left. I hope you get that time.

Didn't sleep last night, this is turning into a regular thing. By Mon night, I have to be able to sleep 6 hrs for the sleep study or it doesn't count. IDK how I am going to do that.

I get my crown this am, then will probably have to sleep a little. I'm motivated to clean out two corners of my room that have accumulated clutter.

Pinetree-?? They originally said today but no lab results,no PICC line yet or specialty cast. He said he can use a walker if he keeps the leg up so thats very good. I have a walker and crutches squirrelled away too. Going to call him again real soon.

    Happy St. Patricks Day!!
Well got a present from the dogs. I carried on the snow shovel and put it in a nice groc. bag in the trash. I was a chipmunk. The 8" kind w/ a straight tale, not a field rat. Thats what I am telling myself and thats it!

Well,I just talked to him and he's been to PT for stairs on crutches and such. They just brought in the cast and have a PICC line scheduled. It would be nice to know what the infection is. Maybe he will be home today. I really wish it would be tomorrow!

It will work out, hope the weather hold out for you.

Its snowing, ugh, now they say 6 inches, and the wet and heavy stuff too. My poor daffys...

pinetree, sooo sorry you're sick. Stay in bed and get better! That's the only thing you need to be doing right now.

fw, here's hoping that DH won't be released till tomorrow. Yes, insurance should cover all that "stuff" so try not to worry about that.

Bernice, glad you've got the crown. I've never had any problem with any of my 4 crowns.
I finally slept well last night so here's hoping you will too.

TDN, isn't it funny how we think we're going to help a critter find a forever home and it ends up being with us!
Hope your pulled muscle is better.

SD, don't feel guilty about Sugar. You gave her a wonderful life and she trusted you to to do what was right for her at the end, which is what you did. It's okay to enjoy life again.
Our dogs don't like dog biscuits either! First dogs we've ever had that didn't go nuts over them!

wjcalderon, Lizzie is pretty! She looks like our Friend and our Stubby.

RABBIT, we had 4 estimates for the roof and all of them told us that darker is better with all the mildew that forms.

Everyone else, hi, hope you're well.

The roof is finished. They worked from 8 yesterday to 8 last night with only a short lunch break and cleaned up and raked around the house when done. We're still waiting for the second of the two dumpsters to be hauled off which should be this afternoon. It's so nice that all that hammering is over!

    For Thursday,

    1) Change litter boxes
    2) Vacuum/mop kitchen and breakfast room
    3) Catch up on Bible study homework from yesterday
    4) Record recent expenditures/work on mid-month finances
    5) Reset den
    6) Repurpose some leftovers for supper
    7) Finish decluttering clothes in my closet

Have a happy St. Patrick's Day.

    pinetree, we cross-posted AGAIN.

The daffodils may be tough enough to withstand the snow. I saw your forecast and next week it's supposed to be nice there. It's going to be cold and wet here this weekend and then next week it will be more normal spring temps instead of 87 like it was yesterday.

    Take it easy!!!

Pinetree-we did the nursing home and hey,I'd rather park him by the dumpster. It will happen like it always does. They will screw around until its about 1/2 before I have to pick DD up and then hurry up where are you. Then I will get there and there will be a hold up for the meds we need now and he will be past his pain pills. Every time. I already told her it wont kill her to walk the 2 miles. Its mild. Wild is on the lighter side. Like I told her you know what the issue is.. you not driving. So snow? no thanks. We are muddy but reasonable spring temps.
Yeah,it $200 to spring him. IDK if they nail you w/ TV and Phone like they used to. I bet not. We have great ins. and hey,it's spent right?

ILC-thats called a failed rescue and I am the QUEEEEN! sigh. I love Hunter though. And he cracks me up w/ his very large personality in a small dog body. Stuff like all the others are wolfing down crackers and he sniff it to make sure there is dip, because no dip,no thanks. I mean the contrast is just precious. He tunnels in teh middle of the bed making a covers tunnel and then BARPs at anyone who touches him. Like hey dufus I'm sleeping here! Better go check on him. I dont want a beagle escape to contend w/ too.

fw, at least your DH is at a good hospital. They will want him out because the risk of him getting something in there is too high. My dad got all his infections from the hospital.

ilc, glad your roof is finished. All that banging does drive you crazy.

SD, looks like Sota is going to enjoy being spoiled!

pinetree, hope you feel better tomorrow. So much crud is going around.

Not feeling very energetic today, had a short day at work and now I'm home thinking about everything that I should be doing but going to take a break and read a little first. I did get my dailies done this morning though.
I'm too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is greener.

    !
have you seen those knee walkers? they have a platform to rest your knee on, so much easier than crutches or trying to not touch the leg down with a walker. I believe insurance pays for them. Yay to no PICC line!!!
