Good morning. Well, our girls won last night and will be playing this weekend, but I won't be going. I have a fundraiser to help with. I managed to get the bathroom and bedroom done yesterday. Today I am finishing the kitchen and cleaning the living room. After it warms up, I am going to work outside. It is suppose to be in the 80s today and tomorrow. I need the sunshine and dirt therapy.

I did almost 4 hours of raking yesterday and today my body is screaming its protests. But things are looking better. Still got lots more to rake due to all the hardwoods in our yard and we didn't do any raking back in the fall.

    For Wednesday:

    1) Yesterday's list plus
    2) Church tonight 6:30

Well, I was going to bake brownies today since a friend is coming over, but there's no chocolate or cocoa powder, so...

Still need to pick up a few things and strip the bed. That will probably be all the energy I have today.

Gorgeous out, supposed to hit the high 70's. GB, I envy your sunshine and dirt. Was just going through my seeds thinking I could put in lettuce and radishes now.

ILC you deserve a hot bubble bath and a glass of wine tonight.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

Oh you guys. I would love to start seeds but the dogs, the cats, the weather.
TBH Ch I ususally just do a mix and add milk and choc chips or maybe nuts. So lazy but I also cant irritate my feet because the neuropathy is kicking in.

I did get to Aldis today and bought a good amt of veg/fruit to go forward w/ this weight loss battle. Also hit the library for the 1st time in over a year according to the card renewal. The library was super hot because the temp is programmed for the usual weather so I couldnt stay long. next time though. Waiting on another stamp order and trying to find a reasonably price slip case $60. and they can take a leap. I should prob. just do it because my investment is worth protecting.

Been raining on and off for about 2 days. The weatherman said it will be a mixed bag. There is no comfort in that statement. Is it going to dump huge snow or what!lol

Hooray! My house is done and the sticks in yard picked up. Going to work a little in the garden and flower beds in the morning. My kale, spinach, and radishes are coming up. It is suppose to be close to 90 tomorrow. It's good now, but won't be in July and August when the heat index is well into the 100s. Got a deal at Kroger in what I call my "honey hole." They had organic peanut butter for 90 cents, fancy dark chocolate candy bars for 16 cents, a large jar of applesauce for 90 cents and curry sauce for 95 cents. I also went to Sprouts and got 98 cent pineapple, onions 2 lbs/$1, Roma tomatoes 2 lbs./$1, celery 98 cents, and cauliflower 98 cents. I love bargains and fresh food.

Well, change of plans. I need a day of fun and rest, so a friend and I are going to the casino, eat free, and play our $25 free money. I will resume my gardening tomorrow afternoon.

Gbug, after all that work, you deserve a day of fun! Enjoy!

CH, I was lazy yesterday...actually I was hurting and not able to do much.

fw, late February always seems to have weird weather. Can't make up its mind what to do. This has turned out to be the warmest February on record here. People are walking around in shorts, sandals, and t-shirts. Flowers that shouldn't be blooming will be very soon.

    For Thursday:

    1) Rake the front gardenia beds
    2) Make a dessert
    3) Plan menus
    4) Finish a library book
    5) Do more laundry

ILC-I just thought a pro w/ millions of dollars of equipment gave a weather report that sounded like a kindergartener. Mar. is like that here. Blustery winds, lots of slush rain I call SNAIN because it snow or rain depending on the minute. It was sunny and pretty warm for us. I think it hit 60? have to check. Was out on the deck for a minute w/ barefeet until eww dogs realization.

stayed home for dizziness. Plus the vans iffy a bit. The doors seem to be sliding again and it started well. IDK I give up. Its 13yrs. old. I am getting "ritzy" in my old age and have been ogling the Pacifica in the rich burgandy color. Dh would say yes but its $30,000 and sigh. I transport dogs. This may be the last vehicle i get ever?? I wonder what a tear used exec one would run. Thats what the Montana all wheel drive van is. Lots of features I never would have swung for.

Need to do some laundry tomorrow.
I was good for lunch and had a nice salad. Of course DD ate all the goat cheese so I subbed w/ sharp. So not the same, lol.

After almost 90 yesterday, it is only going to be in the upper 60s today. Texas weather! I had a nice relaxing day yesterday. I am working at the soup kitchen this morning and then I think I may do some sewing this afternoon. DH will be gone tonight and tomorrow to the regional basketball championship, but I am helping with a fundraiser tomorrow and can't go. Guess I'll catch up on Netflix.

It was 79 yesterday and it is 37 this morning. Winter is back, but I don't think we are going to see snowflakes today. All winter the weather has missed us.

DH stayed home yesterday because of construction at the office and we drove each other nuts. Looking forward to a quiet day alone.

Have normal housework stuff to do, chicken to thaw for supper, etc.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Got paid and paid out almost all the reimb. for his last trip, put money in the bank, paid 2 CC's off agian and the garbage for 6 mo. We are close to 12 mo. emergency fund. prob. in the next 2 mo.
Need to get vaccumning and laundry, dishes and go get meds today. IDK if the dizziness will stop me but I am getting impatient w/ getting nada done.
Everyone have a fruitful day. It is gloomy here and will prob. rain again.

Well sorry for y'all getting cold/rain. We are having amazing warm weather for Feb. Dog says it's too hot of course. I want to rearrange boards and stuff at the garden and move the mulch around. I grabbed it while available and just piled it up. Saturday:
    1. garden
    2. soup and home made bread
    3. paid work at home
    4. clean fireplace doors (did not get done last week.)

CH I make my own brownie mix w/ cocoa and store it in a pint jar. Add oil and eggs to mix it up. Do you want the recipe?

Worked in the soup kitchen and took a load of milk, sandwiches, salads, yogurt to the church pantry to give away. Didn't do anything else.
