I bought some Greek yoghurt on sale and made my favorite breakfast today. Oats, raisins, almonds and grated apple soaked in orange juice and served with yoghurt.

    Today:

    Fold laundry.
    Run dishwasher.
    Vacuum floors.
    Declutter.

The rest of the week: extra work hours, finish and return library book by Wednesday, quilt project, sort dog stuff leftover from club swap meet and email rescue groups to see who wants what. Have started thinking about holiday shopping/planning.

    Back on the chain gang....

    -- pack and ship package
    -- pay bills (done)

    -- meatballs for freezer
    -- DH's sausage biscuits
    -- clean fridge (done)
    -- clean cat cage
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

Sorry about the dentist visit. At least you won't ever have to go through that again.
I picked up the dog's ashes and paid the vet bill today. Not as painful as I would have thought. Being involved w/ the dog group and our meeting Monday has really helped. So many others have shared the same experience and know exactly what to say to convey their sympathy.

The garden is still producing lots of beans. I picked enough okra to make it for supper Friday, a bacon/rice/tomato/okra recipe I like. Working on quilt blocks and listening to an audio-book were last night's and tonight's activity.

Lots of errands today. 2 books waiting for me at the library. Spare time will be spent on quilting projects. I jammed my thumb yesterday so knitting is out until it is less sore.

Both taken for nail cut... BADLY needed
Some stuff taken down to put on stockpile shelves
    Dishwasher unloaded and reloaded
Dishwasher ran ... haven't unloaded this batch
One load in washer but haven't put in dryer
Will put in dryer when I go down next time
Crap on kitchen counter put in Walfart bags to take with me tomorrow to throw away

That's about it. So much to do. Have spent so much replenishing food after losing it in the fridges and freezer after the hurricane and still have nothing. No butter no eggs. Need a shop trip and don't want to go. Still so tired from no sleep and burning up. So for tomorrow or the next ...

    Hopefully unload dishwasher

Back in school (age 8 to 16) I had a songbook we used in Danish, history, and music lessons and at the weekly assembly every Friday morning.

We got to keep the book when we left the school, but I no longer have it. I got nostalgic and have been searching for a used copy for two or three years now. Found it in a thrift shop today. It looks like new and was only $2.

I saved 1/3 on my BF's birthday present as well today.

Picked more beans and okra today. Hardly any rain this month and the bean plants are finally dying off. I will let some beans dry on the vine and hope to use them for planting next year, they produced impressively. Friday after work, make a lasagne for my parents, a carrot cake for my brother (birthday was Tuesday) and study the coursework, I am on the last section. They maybe take the test.

I've got errands to run, a small sewing project to finish, and dinner to figure out. We are joining friends for the evening, and it will be a potluck thing.

Lots to do today: make chicken soup & bread, hoping to get a batch of cookies made and in the freezer. May visit garden, shop sales @ CVS. Need to go to Home Depot for a few things. Work on quilting project if there is time.
