My favorite bakery is now selling their bread with a discount in large bags in the last 15 minutes of its opening hours. I got a bag with the rye bread we love, a sourdough loaf, 12 mixed rolls, three cakes, and a large pasta dish tonight for less than the price of two loaves.

    Today:

    - Run dishwasher - done.
    - Grocery shopping - done.
    - Make granola.

Such a gray day out and people are crazy out there! Kroger was pretty cleaned out and the sale at Tenutas was over, missed the drop at the food pantry because they close at 3 pm. May make stuffing and chops because we ate the L.O. lagsanga (sp?) for lunch. Going to go rest. Migraine spelling!!

I am back! My computer quit and I got it finally fixed today. Missed hearing from you all. Since I have been gone, I have had surgery and my hot water heater flooded my house and I am just now finishing up the cleanup and repair this week. It has been 11 weeks. Today I put my dining room back together and put my Christmas tree up, but not decorated. The best thing is that I got all new wood laminate floors and a lot of new painting. My house looks like new. There is always good that comes with the bad.

Hi GB. Sorry to hear about the floors but glad you are back. Hope your surgery is healed up. I just had my foot done 4 weeks ago. 8 more weeks to go.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

GB, yes, left foot this time.

Today: wash dishes and sink (plumber coming tomorrow)
write checks for bills and prop. taxes
    thaw chicken for dinner

Brr! Temp dropped from ~70 yesterday to 33F today. Who got hail last night and who got snow?
