RABBIT--I just got back on too. Welcome back. Trying to prepare for the extreme cold. It is in the 30s now.

    Today:
    Continue packing up Christmas decorations.
Ice sugar cookies and make a cobbler.
Spend time with Daughter and family.

worked until midnight and did a dw load then went to bed
HAve a load of new glasses in and am sanitizing some pans and dutch ovens and lids I did. This is going to be a slow process, Got the garbage disposal going again-yippy. Per usual I am chipping away at a huge mess. Wish my stupid back would let me do more.

Rabbit glad to see you back also.

Got all the outside decorations down and put away before icy weather comes in. Got the sugar cookies and cobbler done. Still eating leftovers. Just sitting by the fire and playing with my Granddaughter

taking a short break for DH to go get a pizza. We are being bad. So thankful we did no decorations to be put away this year.
Starting to make a short list of things to be replaced in the kitchen. (plastic cutting board and wooden spoons and I'd love to swap out a few dutch ovens too.
Hand washed another load and the DW is finally done . Back at it later if the old back will tolerate it. DH is working late tonight anyway.

Well I got everything done on my list for today. I went online this afternoon and found Beastie some sweaters. Everyone is having sales being after the holiday so I got her 2 sweaters for $21.60. That's including tax and free shipping. I thought that was a great deal for 2 Xlarge sweaters. I couldn't have bought her one at a store for that price.

Didn't have to cook again due to eating Christmas leftovers. Glad to get a break from cooking but looking forward to getting back to eating normally, not all this fatty and salty food.

The biggest thing I needed to do today was to drop of DS11's trumpet at the store to be repaired. I have meant to do it all week. It won't be done until the end of next week. Here's hoping school has one he can borrow next week until it is done!

I have a muscle behind my shoulder that is throbbing this morning so I am hoping to get through my list today with a little help from Ibuprofen.

~ dailies (dust, clean all closet mirrors)
    ~ clean fridge
~ write out thank you card
    ~ put Christmas decorations away
    ~ make salad
    ~ wash door wall blinds

I will start with worst first. The fridge, blinds and salad.

My BF's mom and brother visit us for dinner tonight and bring the food. The brother had a gift card to a catering company that expires today.

    Today:

    - Finish inventory of food in kitchen - almost done.
    - Run dishwasher - done.
    - Laundry.

Finished my list. I always have a problem when cleaning blinds that I can't always tell easily where I left off so today when I was cleaning my door wall blinds I used a chip clip, that worked well.

My list today is identical to yesterday's list.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.
