Cleaned my closet....have shoes, purses, clothing and a ton of blankets to donate. Found my king size memory foam topper all squeezed down in a blanket bag. Out it goes....got a box ready to mail to my nephew for his grandbaby. Using one of my decorated boxes to fill with new baby clothes for a shower I am going to next week instead of buying a bag.

Donated a bunch of stuff from garage for the garage sale we are holding to get money for the Easter hunt we are planning.

Trashed a big stack of nonstick rubbery stuff that's all dried out. That made some space on top the bathroom cabinet.

I haven't started seriously decluttering yet, but we're still adding bit by bit to the donation box as we come across things we don't want.

Got 2 trash bags ready- one with clothing and other with books/misc.

I have a tote full of items from the in-laws (flashlights/purse/belt,etc), a bag of plastic containers (food grade for cupcakes and breads) and put a lamp in a box.

    All goes out this week.

Wonders never cease, hubby pulled a bunch of his clothes (many like-new) from the closet for the donation pick-up Tuesday. And the rowing machine is leaving too. I emailed my brother to see if he wanted any of the shirts before they go out.

Gave a dozen cloth napkins (never used) to sis-in-law and I'm giving a bunch of mom's perfume/cologne to a co-worker today (I asked yesterday if she was interested.)

I'm working on the kitchen this week. Ds cleaned it the last time he was here. I need to get it back to how it looked when he left. Some people, (we won't name) can't put things back where they came from and just leave it on the counter. I just push it out of the way so I can cook. Time to clean it up again.

got sleepy at 2 pm so I got up and started sorting/shredding papers, CDs and floppy discs! Not a lot but better than it was. Some more CDs hubby will need to decide but I think they are obsolete.

I cleaned the bathroom and discarded a bag of empty boxes and old toiletries. My closet was sorted through and a bag of clothes will be donated.

Cleaned up some in the garage, filled a small bag with trash. Had DH dig out the electric travel cooler that we never use. I bought it at a yard sale years ago and we took it with us once and discovered it was very noisy. So off it goes on someone else's adventure.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

My donation box was overflowing, so I put it outside next to the street with a sign saying "Free" and posted it on Facebook in two local groups this morning.

I also donated two bags of clothes in the Red Cross container close by.
