Default T-Shirt Challenge (cleaning out my closet)

Okay, I have too many t-shirts. Not an overwhelming amount, but I don't have a lot of clothing storage space, and even though I'll have a larger closet in the new house, I don't want to create the same problems there that I've had here. So, I am challenging myself tonight (after the kids have gone to bed and dh has gone to do work on the new house) to whittle down my t-shirts. I am going to keep 7. I realize that 7 is probably more than I need, as well, however, my thinking is, it's one for each day of the week (although I don't wear a different t-shirt every day and once school starts, won't wear them at all). So, I'm going to start with 7. This is going to be tough because I actually have 2 t-shirts from high school which are in very good condition that I never wear, but it's like a badge of honor that I've been able to still keep them after 14 years. I also have my college intramural sports t-shirt (I played rugby...long story...don't ask) that is my badge of honor that I actually participated in a sport at one time in my life, but it is full of holes and I should just toss it. So, it'll be tough, but I'm ready for the challenge.

Who am I kidding? The real challenge is gonna be to get dh to go through HIS stuff! His armiore is overflowing and makes my head spin to look at.

Well, I did it. Whittled it down, have some that were in bad shape that I'm tossing or using for rags, some that were in okay shape that I'm donating, and some that were in great shape that I'm going to try to trade or sell here. I still can't get Rob to agree to eBay, and that's one of the decisions that we make together, so no go there, but still, I've weeded it out and it's amazing how much more space I have. The big problem is that my dad is a catalog junkie and always buys me shirts out of catalogs. I have told him no more, so hopefully I'll be all set now!
