    Default FV Clean Along Tuesday

It's a brand new day. Have you been considering ways you can prepare to make your days run more smoothly?

If yesterday was too much, what could you have done in the evening to make the morning easier?

Dishes done in the evening, so you don't wake up to them is one thing you could do.

Setting dishes out for breakfast the night before can shave a couple of minutes.

Giving the kitchen floor a quick sweep before bed could free up some time.

Putting a load of laundry into the washer, so that it's ready for the dryer in the morning saves time too.

There are lots of things that take very little time and can be done at night. (Run the dishwasher again or emptying it? Lunches made ahead? School/work gear pulled out? Clothing set out?)

Here we goooooooo Good Morning Tuesday!!!!

Today's area of concentration is Bathrooms. (but I did mine yesterday...you say) hmmmmm...we'll see about that.

First, For starters is your bed made? If it's already made, post and tell me.

Gather up that dirty laundry and pop it into a laundry basket.

Head into the bathroom and start the morning with a shower/brushing teeth.

Get dressed, grab your laundry basket, and head to your laundry room and get that load in first thing.

    Now head into your kitchen.
Make yourself and anyone else breakfast.
Make sure your dishes are done afterward. Don't leave them until later.
Wipe down your counter tops and table tops
    Sweep your floor
Clean your stove top excluding drip pans
Pull some food that may need defrosting for dinner.
Pull out your vacuum and vacuum any carpeted areas that are nearby. If you're carpets are still clean...woohoo..good for you. Mine never are. lol

Now head into your diningroom and livingroom.
Dust table tops, arrange pillows and cushions. For today, table tops can be a light dusting and not a furniture polishing. Unless you're feeling really motivated.
Make sure areas are paper, mail, and magazine free. If you have too much paperwork and it's overwhelming, then for now just organize it neatly.

Come check back into the forums and post and how long it took you to accomplish this. Are we catching onto the routine?

Hang out for a bit, but guess what? Laundry is ready for the dryer.

Today should be another easy day.

    Tuesday Focal Area
    Bathroom(s)
    General dusting
Tile wall, bathtubs, and showers cleaned and disinfected
    Shower door cleaned and disinfected
Vanity and sink cleaned and disinfected
Mirrors and chrome fixtures cleaned and shined
    Floors washed and disinfected/carpets vacuumed
    Toilets cleaned and disinfected
    Cobwebs removed
    Empty wastebasket
    Fresh towels
    Organize cabinets
    Wash windows and sills
    Tile grouting scrubbed
Spot clean doors and doorframes for fingerprints
    Knick-knacks individually wiped
    Fronts of cabinets wiped
    Baseboards wiped
    Extra attention to floors

Guess what your laundry is done! Go fold and put away
Come and check in and report that your area of concentration is completed and tell us what's for dinner.

    Sara,
My bed is made, my shower is taken, my breakfast is eaten and my dish is in the dishwasher.

When I get home from work I will do the dusting, the bathroom, and a load of laundry. And, of course, whatever else you have for us today!

    Sara,

    I am showered.
DH is still in bed. He will make it when he gets up.
I will clean the bathroom after his shower.
Laundry is ready to go in as soon as DS#1 is done in shower. (we have a well, can't run the shower and washing machine at the same time.)
Turkey breast is out to thaw.
DS#1 did the kitchen floor last night.

Will check in with the rest later

    Good morning

Bed is already made. Working on getting the kids ready for school. I got their clothes ready last night, so that's one less thing to do.

I didn't do my dishes last night, so there's a bunch in the sink I was just too tired.

Need to wait until 7:30 to do some of the stuff as Dave hasn't gotten in the shower yet I need to go crack the whip

All of this done by 7:15 am
~I jumped out of bed, made it.
~took shower, dressed, cleaned bathroom(I see I have to go back because of todays task)
~Made breakfast, cleaned & swept kitchen
~ran through house, quick pick up
~ sat down here to eat and now onto other things
Oh meat for dinner is thawing on counter. We're having peking pork, rice & broccoli

Felt good... If someone were to have stopped by at 7:30 this morning I'd have felt good that my home looked so neat and (don't look to close) clean.
Woohoo, no pressing concerns about the house just need to do my assigned tasks at my pace. (aka when I feel like it. )

Thanks for the spring you've put in my step task masters.

I'm up, showered, dressed, made dh and ds#1 lunches, took dh to work, cleaned the kitchen, and made the bed. I've got dd started on her homeschooling too.

Now I'll gather the dirty clothes and start the laundry; while I'm down there I'll pull out chicken for dinner tonight.

I'll have to do an easier version in the bathroom. The other day I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and my whole back and neck hurt like crazy if I do too much. I'll post what I do get done though.

Well, it's mid afternoon and I everything but half of my bathroom done. It is a lot harder to do housework when you are entertaining a five year old. We made brownies though...does that count?
