Default My Bathrooms assault mission is accomplished!!

Phew!! do I feel relieved and grossed completely out at the same time!! I had no idea my children were such budding scientists!! I had to thoroughly cleaned their bathroom cuz it smelled like Tijuana without the dog Tacos!!! Poor Aimee has been cleaning it - she wanted the job and so I hadn't really stayed on it cuz she felt criticized - well allow me to say that was too darn much work for her !! While trying not to be too graphic - how do you get little boys to actually aim at their Target - I have seen Ryan standing there with the door open stretching with his arms up over his head and just kind of "signing" everything in the bathroom!! And Bruce does this too!! It just doesn't matter to them!! If you have any tips please let me know - I really don't want to stand over each of the THREE of them to make sure they "shoot" straight!!

My thorough butt bustin cleaning included running all the faucet handles through the dishwasher as well as light fixtures - descaling and deliming the showerand tub walls - Toothbrush around the sinks, fixtures, and toilet. Cleaning the tracks and curtain rods, scrubbing walls and woodwork, removing and soaking switchplates, Scrubbing the toilets inside and out and in the tanks with bleach, and finally digging out the drains I also organized and put little baskets and pretties in !!

I am fully confident that nothing is living and/or growing in those bathrooms. Man I feel like superwoman - so rejuevenated!! And meanwhile I know Sara is laughing cuz she does this daily and is done by 6:15 am !! Domestic Goddess!!!

But I will plod on - tomorrow I will sneak up on the laundry room!! ATTACK!!

Love that graphic description Kimmee. I have a whirlpool bathtub that gets so scummy around the little nozzles. I hate the tub because it stays filthy and I have to clean the heck out of it. So this morning before I left the house, I filled that sucker up way past the nozzles with water and good old bleach. I turned it on to bubble for a few minutes and then cut it off. GROSS. Lots of black mold came out of the jets. Looks like there is lots of yuck in those lines if you don't use them often. We have well water and I think that contributes to it even more than the folks on cholorinated water. Oh well, I left it soaking and will finish up the job when I get home. At least I can get a nice, clean whirlpool bath at the end of the process.

Your bathroom sounds wonderfully clean Kimmee. Thanks for making my day.

Great job Kimmee! The only way I can think of how to get them to aim better is have them take turns cleaning up the wild icky aftermath. They might then realize how their inattention to detail really isn't welcome. good luck!

Great job Kimmee as far as advice, since you said you've seen them do this perhaps tell them that it will be their job to clean the bathroom everytime they "miss" I don't know any boys who like to clean.

I too make the boys clean the bathroom floor.. Not so much that they "miss", but because they don't lift the lid and "it" spills all over the floor, which is just as nasty and gross...

Oh goodness, Shane is now 28 yrs old and I can't exactly remember what I did to finally get him to aim straight. I do remember though that it was a issue. LOL, I think, if memory serves me correctly, that I bribed him. I will ask him next time I talk to him. Whatever it was it worked!

Hey Kimmee, you can come and assualt my bathrooms any time GF!
