DONE!!! No one goes in my kitchen or I will beat you with a wet noodle

My wrists hurt from scrubbing! Now it will only take 15 minutes a day to keep it looking like that! (can I get a contract drawn up?)
I still need to wash the rugs, but I put them with the laundry and plan on doing clothes this week.

Now I am out to let the gremlins and I get some excersize

    Happy Cleaning Everyone!!!

Here I am just starting but I've been wanting to get my kitchen completely done for a long time. Thanks Sara for giving us a week.

Do I get extra sympathy for working with a stinky (literally) toddler?

She just "discovered" the pantry. I stepped out onto the deck for just long enough to take something out there, and the next thing you know, she is in the pantry and has dumped a huge box of plastic knives and forks all over the not-yet-clean floor. She left for a minute, then went back in after I got the knives and forks picked up and was putting something in the trash. She then told me, "be right back" and told me to go away, because she needed to, ummmmmmmmmm, utilize her diaper. So now my pantry stinks, and so does my child!

And she got into a bunch of stuff while she was in there. (I try to give her privacy when she is "going" because my niece got so she wouldn't go at all and it was a nightmare!) Two steps forward, one step back, right?

I am so jealous of those of you who only need a day- I am a recovering clutter-holic and still have most of the house still to be decluttered. I do the pantry all the time, but DH just keeps tossing things in there and shutting the door. I've recently organized a lot of the cabinets, but there is still a lot to be done.

Gotta' go tend to that diaper (sorry 'bout the TMI.)

Both Ryan and I are horribly sick right now but I am still in on this one. I will do little bits on the kitchen as I feel like it. I think the kitchen is an excellent place to start!

I did my pantry. It wasn't really difficult because as I said we're close to our monthly grocery shopping, so it's pretty low. I'll upload pics in a bit.

Breaking out the bleach to do my sink and counters. They're clean, but not CLEAN.

So far this morning, I've thrown out a bag full of spices and stuff that I had no idea how old they were, and maybe only used once. Also went through the cupboard with all the plastic stuff in it, and now I have the same number of containers and lids. As well, I have a pile of stuff to take to the thrift store, and a bunch of things were put away in the actual spots that they belong!
    Thanks for the mission!

Lol, ok here is the tally...

One box of stuff to give away, 2 big bags of recycles, 3 big bags of trash and expired foods. I just walked back in my kitchen and it's so nice

I've finished one cupboard. It had all my good china in it so I washed all of the china and washed down the cupboard too.

Don't forget ladies, even if you don't use your china, you need to wash it every now and then.

Back down to do another cupboard in a minute.

It took me a couple hours of completely interrupted (by dd) work to get it done, and I haven't had breakfast yet (not good, since it is 12:30) but it is DONE.

I may or may not get anything else done in the kitchen today, but that was the worst, and it is DONE DONE DONE!!!
