    Smile

Done - only had three lip glosses!!!

my AHA moment was .... I really need to get my smaller bag repaired. I had started using my larger travel purse instead of the nifty small bags that are so friendly to my arthritic shoulders - and just never got the smaller one fixed. After dumping all the treasures out of the larger purse, I'm convinced I need to go back to small.

Mahalo for the challenge and reminder!!

Just changed purses the other day...so it's still clean! Yay!! I love doing that though...you always seem to find something you forgot was in there!

i guess i am a strange bird after all.... i don't have anything in my purse... i don't like purses...i don't like to carry purses....i don't get the point of dragging and carrying all your stuff around with you everywhere you go....it cracks me up sometimes to see some of the places women 'carry' their purses....

take for instance a realtor showing a house....i have seen so many carrying their purses...WHY? what are you going to buy ?? there's many more...but you get the point....

so i carry a purse....coz i'm 'spose to... its a big ole' stylish thing too...and i even change with the seasons.... but if you would look in it you would laugh.... i have to dig in my purse alright...coz its so big and cavernous that the single item in there gets lost.... okay...there are 2 items in there...

    1) a pouch that has cash, drvs lic, cc, coupons, pen& paper....
    2) another pouch that has chapstick, lotion, emery board....

and these are very small pouches.... that's it...thats all i need when i leave the house.....

i have 'carried' many a thing around in my days...and i found i never used a single one....so now it all stays home and i have found that i am prefectly content with all i have.....

I used to carry HUGE purses and my shoulders always hurt. So I now have an extra small Ameribag (for people with bad backs) a tiny cloth bag and a little bit bigger cloth bag with shoulder strings.

I can't stuff them full with every thing but the kitchen sink AND when I do clean them out, it is quick and easy. I do manage to stuff a bunch of receipts into them, but about once a week I take them out and either file or toss.

I bought my leather Ameribag about 10 years ago. It is at the shop now getting a new zipper ($16.95). I paid about $80 for it originally and it would cost $125 plus shipping online if I bought a new one. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with mine except for the zipper.

I can't wait to get it back because it will hold all the essentials hubby and I need when we ride the Harley and it will be secure and I won't have to worry about losing it when we ride.

I don't carry purses anymore...just a wallet. Otherwise DS and DH are asking... "can you put this or that in there?" It just got to be a carryall/diaper bag so no more!
