I have finally finished the livingroom... In the last two weeks, I have basically gotten rid of two 30 gallon trash bags of trash and magazines...
I have also sorted and stacked the kids books, looked in everybox nook and cranny and gotten rid of anything not of use to me...I have had to repositon some of my furniture, because mainly, my ds(8), broke our little kitchen table and I now have to bring in our larger one... Dusted everything, and cleaned all glass surfaces, as well as an extemely clean carpet. My livingroom is now half of what it was... There have been new rules implemented too... No more eating in the livingroom, and you MUST pick up after yourself... The kids will take turns vacuuming, and dusting, as well as a few other "jobs"..

my LR is decluttered, swiffered, polished and windows washed. (inside only- it's cold here in New England).
I haven't gone through 2 shelves in my book case- because I ran out of time.. but I peeked at the books and see some I MIGHT want to get rid of.
Honestly, I keep LR clutterfree... but there are still things to do in there. Hiding and lurking. -

It really was for me. DD#1 finally agreed to let the piano go. Dh agreed to let the piano go. I cleared the top of the piano. Now the debate is whether to tune it before trying to sell it or not. DD#1 thinks we should. I don't know if we have the $150 for that. I'm dreaming of a cleared out living room!
Tried to sort through my patterns yesterday and had a real hard time. I don't know how to sort through them! Anyone got any ideas? I pulled out four or five really old ones...you know '60s Dior dresses and jackets. Hate to get rid of them. They have historical value almost! But I'm never going to use them, so they went out.

Only thing left to do is wash the walls and ceiling.

Grrrr! I thought we had the piano thing settled. Now dd#2 is wanting to hang onto it! But noone's played it in 3 years. She claims people played it at Christmastime this year. I never heard them. Dh gets ugly every time I mention tuning it. I think it's time to get rid of it despite dd#2. She certainly isn't learning to play it!
Okay...vent over...I'm still getting rid of the piano...I think.
