    Thumbs up

I participated in the Fall Fling and got rid of over 1000 things. I could definitely keep this up! I've been trying not to accumulate, but apparently my house is a vortex for useless junk.

    I'm in!

Oh gosh, 7 a week? I don't think I can do that. But I like the idea of keeping track of what I do get rid of. Maybe it will help me stay on track with decluttering.

I've been getting rid of my seven things each week, but there is a problem. I keep getting more stuff! A friend loaned us an entire carload of baby toys and another friend sent us four HUGE moving boxes of clothes for baby up to age 5! This kid won't need a toy or an article of clothing for years.

    That would seriously irritate me.

I am the one that takes out the trash in the morning, but he is still home when I leave so it could happen to me, I'm counting my blessings it doesn't, ugh! I do trash-pick our garbage to make sure he didn't pitch a recycle item before I haul it out to the curb.

hm. Maybe I'm the one doing this to him? *grin!*

Wow that is a challenge! I usually try to get rid of as many items as I bring into the home. If you did that you'd have nothing! ~he he~
What nice people you have in your life. You are very lucky. Maybe you can return some of the toys?????

    Smile challenge update

I haven't been decluttering for a couple of weeks. I decided to do that today to keep my mind and self busy. I have 10 bags of clothing, toys, gadgets, kitchen misc and food to donate. I also am donating an electric sweeper. There's just too much to count individually, so I'll count this as 11 items.

Today I gave a bag of scrapbooking supplies to a coworker, donated a bag of useable toys to the food/clothing bank and donated 2 books to the library.

Did some decluttering today while dh went to a buddy's to cut firewood for us. In return for the firewood I sent him 10 new t-shirts(seconds) and homemade granola. Anyway got off the subject. I pulled out another trashbag full of papers and stuff out a secretary.
