I just discovered this thread. I'm joining in, even though it is now March! I have seven things ready to donate, and have some items listed on Ebay that I will count when they sell and I mail them out.

Imforpeace, I'm sorry about your mother. My mother died almost five years ago and I have had the most difficult time getting rid of anything that was hers... Since I have so much excess stuff, I guess I can work on decluttering other things before I tackle things that belonged to her.

Thank you RaineyDaye! I have yet to declutter what my mom owned. I'm trying to continue decluttering what I already had.

One question, does the pain ever REALLY get better? My dad insists that it will. I know it's been just over a month, but it really hurts!

This weekend, we cleaned out one shed. {we have two more to go} It's amazing how much stuff you keep when you have three sheds to store it in. Once all three are empty, we will take them down and recycle the aluminum.

Things we put at the curb for free:

    *1 snow tire
*2 tall bamboo oil lamps{with stakes to put into the ground} and a bottle of oil
*1 section of vinyl garden border
*4 sections of gutters with 3 down spouts
*1 new bottle of concrete cleaner
*1 new large tub of concrete patch
    *10 flower pots

Most of it is already gone!

One of my new years resolutions was to maintain a schedule of "Throw It Away Thursdays" where I would throw at least three things away every Thursday in an effort to curtail junk or reduce the amount of "stuff" in my life. I love this seven things a week plan though! I'm in!

For today (4-13) I have already shredded a number of old records and will recycle the shreddings! I also came across an old calendar while I was cleaning and I plan to use some of the pretty calendar topper photos for some homemade greeting cards!

    For today:
I found a long-forgotten mini bottle of Bath & Body Works Lotion in my medicine cabinet as well as a tube of chapstick so I took those to work today. I'm constantly putting lotion and chapstick on so I think these will get used up fairly quickly! Better than throwing them away, and the scent of the lotion makes my office smell good! A "twofer"! I'm going to be cleaning out our spare bedroom tonight so hopefully I'll come up with some more R, R, and R materials!
