Default Getting Rid of 7 Things A Week Challenge

So, here is where we can write what we get rid of in Imforpeace's Getting Rid of 7 Things A Week Challenge. (Originally posted in the Natural Living Forum)

    I'll start:

    Today I got rid of
~5 DVD sets by selling them on eBay
    ~1 broken cash register toy

    Anyone else?

(I'm classifying the DVD sets singularly, but things like paperwork, etc., I will classify as 1 pile of papers...see what I'm saying?)

I just saw this and I am on my way out the door to work, but within a couple of minutes I threw away:

1 broken frame (put the picture on the fridge)
1 old, dirty, ratty stuffed Miss Piggy (no clue on that one...)
1 dog toy that had its stuffing ripped out, etc.

Not quite 7, but a start.

I freecycled 2 suitcases, threw away Grandpa Lewis' coveralls, bagged up some clothes my granddaughter has outgrown and must have thrown away a bunch of stuff picking up around the house because there were 3 trash sacks for Grandpa to take out today.

So far just one belt and one T-shirt for the week. Charity truck comes around on Friday, so I'll try to have more by then.

I had 9 ebay auctions close tonight & two more close tomorrow (I'm up to $130)

Yesterday I freecycled a box of odd dishes and such that I no longer needed.

Tomorrow I'm making DH go through his closet and find at least 10 items to donate. (I'll go through mine and the kids' as well).

I threw out a bunch of catalogs of teaching materials. The stack probably weighed about 25 pounds.

I bagged up three garbage bags of kids and my clothes. So I am up to 3!

Just looking around I can also get rid of some more stuff too.

I have several knick knacks to donate, my fiance went through his closet and has one large bag of clothes, we have a small bag of household things and I have a bag of magazines to donate,. We will probably go this evening after dinner. I have so many more things to get rid of, but it's a start for now.
