Do you grow Sunchokes?
I ordered them yesterday did some reading on them but still have questions.. I was wondering what you think of them? I see they are beautiful with sunflower like tops..do they smell fragrant? Do you like the taste of the tubers?

I have picked some that were growing wild. No smell to the flowers, the chokes are wonderful.
They tend to take over, so give them their own plot.

Thanks! I'm really contemplating on where to plant them.. I have 10-tubers coming by next week.. I was thinking of planted them on the edge of my lawn but it would within 10=ft of our main road but I'm concerned that anything that is coming off the road like salt that is used frequently during the winter months will be absorbed into the ground rendering the tubers inedible.. then I was thinking that I can dedicate one of my raised beds for them.. but I read that they grow tall and block out the sunlight..I need all the direct sunlight for my garden..Oy..I should of thought this through a little more.
