$25 gift certs for $10 sometimes on sale for $2 for $25 cert!
I have NOT used this myself, but a caller on the Dave Ramsey show recently called in singing it's praises....let me know if anyone uses it! (will probably get to it before I do these days....)

Restaurant.com
I think it's a great deal IF you would be spending the minimum required to redeem them... I checked local places, and the minimum is a lot more than we normally spend...Last edited by Lady_V; 12-04-2008 at 10:35 AM.

I've looked into it, but the restaurants that particpate here and not our fav's, so we haven't tried them. It looks like a pretty good deal. Here, you can pick up a $10 "gift card" for $3, then you have to spend at least $20 to use the card. So you are getting a $20 meal for roughly $13. It looks like it would be a good deal, you just need to read the "Fine print" because it is different for every restaurant. Some specify you spend a certain dollar amount and others say you have to buy two entres, etc.
It looks like a good deal though!

I have used them and they are a deal. Give the cert to the waitress when you order so she has time to call and confirm. One time I gave it to her at the end of the meal and she had a hard time getting through to get the code from them and we had to wait forever after our meal. I do miss them though. The restaurants in our area our not using them like the were before and either they are for someplace I don't like or their for a place an hour or so away.

We have not used them since they're more like a coupon with a minimum purchase required. And the minimum is usually different for lunch & dinner. I don't really want to pay for a coupon when I can clip them from the sales flyers that come with the paper or other weekly ads that get dropped off.

If anyone's interested, the certificates are currently 70% off when you use the code PREZ.
For me, I'm buying a $25.00 gift cert. for $3.00. Minimum purchase is $30.00, so I can take the family out to dinner for $8.00 plus tip. Not bad at all!

We use them and think they offer a substantial savings if you buy them on sale.

A while back, I picked some up for $2.00 a piece. We use them frequently and have never had a problem.
