Nordstroms has their own brand of makeup. There is nothing worng with it, it is not expiring!

They are changing their packaging and are selling mascara, lipstick, nailpolish and MUCH MORE! For $1.00. I just bought 40 items and the shipping was $6.95.

Okay, after reading up on this....it is a SCAM. They are not being bought my Nordstrom or owned by Nordstrom. The Lady I talked to let me cancel my order. Thank goodness, it did sound too good to be true.

I'm not sure where you got the information about Nordstrom. That's not true. But I've actually heard a lot of good things about ELF because they are a vegan, non-animal testing line.

I've heard people say this about ELF, so I'm glad you caught onto the scam. I have heard people say good things about their make up though.

How did you get to that site? I hope it wasn't through an e-mail claiming to be from Nordstroms. The e-mail isn't, and takes people to a mirror site of ELF, and when you enter your credit card info - well, the scammers have got you.
That said, ELF is a legitimate business with a lot of great reviews, they didn't perpetuate this scam any more than Nordstroms did. The deals on their site are real, and from what I hear from plenty of other people, their products are really nice.

There is a well known urban Legend website called Snopes that documents things like this. They are very well known to be correct and reputable.

According to Snopes {at the very bottom of the article} E.L.F is a real website but it has nothing to do with Nordstroms and it is always 1.00 an item.

I have ordered from elf and always been pleased. they are not affiliated with Nordstroms but nonetheless I like their products.

I like some of their products better than others. I don't really care for their eyeliners...they're not soft enough. I like their eyeshadow though.

No, they aren't a scam. They are a legitimate company whose name got dragged through the mud by some unscrupulous people trying to steal peoples' personal information.

I just ordered a few items from ELF. I hope it isn't a scam. After I ordered I got an email confirmation and here is a 10% off code I won't use (because I got enough already) EGTENAZ.

I hope I get the make up and wasn't just scammed out of $20......

Yep, that is were I get my ELF products and I love that they don't test on animals too!

I wanna say Target sells it too, but not sure.

Definately, not a scam

Now the Nordstrom "gossip" is just that, it resurfaces every few years, have no idea why people forward along those emails, but Eyes Lips Face is definately it's own brand.
