I have frozen them, and it's not bad. I wrapped them in foil and reheated in a slow oven

I wonder about this because I checked McDonald's website and they had no information or press release about a hamburger and cheeseburger promotion. Then we went out yesterday and stopped at McDs and the cashier looked at me like I was crazy and said they had not heard of the promotion. I'm starting to think this is a rumor. But, it was worth a try.

me neither... we used to let the kids get a burger once in a while but then we found out they get their beef from a country that isn't up to snuff on safety regulations that prevent things like mad cow disease and we stopped even the once in a while.
Not to disparge the OP... I just thought some people might not be aware of this and wanted to pass along the info.

McDeals are decided on a regional basis. Each co-op of owner/operators vote on the promotions for their area. Rarely is there a nationwide price promotion due to varying costs.

You are misinformed... follow stinkbug's link.
Also, McD's supplies it's restaurants using local supply networks, ensuring fresh product from regionally local suppliers. As for my McDonald's... our beef comes from stockyards in Kansas City, MO and is processed using high standards that were adapted by the FDA. High quality lean beef raised in the USA is all we serve.Last edited by suki; 03-07-2009 at 02:47 PM.
