I went CVS'ing today for the first time in a long time!!!
DH and I really want to get a nice stockpile back up. We use to have SUCH a nice one. Lots of HBA, Meds, Food, Meats, Cat food and litter. Oh it was so nice...but now its been gone for about 6 months. I have some stuff like soap and band aids but I hate that I have been BUYING shampoo recently. So I started CVSing again.
Today I got 4 boxes of Nabisco crackers, 3 packs of excedrin, 1 500ml listerine, 1 cvs cocoa butter, and 1 reach tooth brush for $14 and I got 7EB leftI started with no extra bucks. So next week I wont have much of an OOP.
Yey for CVS!!!

Good job. I love CVS and shop there all the time. The prices on tons of stuff is very high, but when they have a sale and with the coupons, its awesome.
One time I had 25 dollars extra bucks coupon and tresemme was on sale for around 3.50 and I stocked up big time. So I got several free. heh.

Awesome!!! I am so not use to having a huge stockpile of shampoo. At one time I had over 100 bottles. I have 2 left. Ugh, the anxiety!! LOL!

Need to hound our Longs/CVS - they need to bite the bullet and just be a CVS store with all the deals that you all get - we deserve them too!! I'm jealous!!

I started CVSing about 2 months ago, and the savings, and stickpiling, adds up fast, even though their 'regular' prices are so high- a little coupon clipping and time planning out your trip with the circular, you're golden. I'm hooked- my hubby jokes I may need a Rite Aid/CVS intervention soon- he KNOWS when i get home from those 2 spots Sunday morning after my weekly trip, I'm bound to pile up my 'finds' on the table and make him guess how much we spent- he's always shocked at how much I get for how little!

I have to admit I am definitally addicted to CVSing again. Its a rush, and DH likes it to! I would LOVE a CVS forum here!!! I would post in it all the time and I am sure it would be helpful for everyone who wants to CVS!

Here's an ironic chuckle for those of you who love CVS.
As some of you probably know I work in a medical library. I was checking electronic journal links while ago. When I do this, I often have to open random articles to verify that we have the access we are supposed to have. For a pharmacy journal I opened one with a small PDF (they download faster) and this is what I learned (drumroll): in the medical world, CVS stands for cyclic vomiting syndrome. Ah, well.

I've been slacking on my CVSing....but when I see the fliers lately, their sales or "free after ECB" isn't anything I want...so I haven't been putting in the effort....I need to start again though...it's fun and addicting! LOL

It's pretty bad here because the cashiers know me and my kids and I know them. lol Actually I've been told by one lady that I am her favorite and nicest customer. Aaah. I thought that was sweet.
I think they are way better than Walgreens. Here they are always built next door to each other. The only thing I do like better about Walgreens is the drive through pharmacy. haha. too lazy to get out of the car.
That's funny, dcomptom!
