I stopped by GFS and picked up a 6pound bag of cheese for $4.85 regular $9.99 huge box of frozen corn cobs $ 5.00 must be at least 50 in there. Also my great deal is black forest hams (whole) marked from $35 to $7.00 so i bought 4 of them. All had a sell by August 16th.

Wow, Wow, Wow!.....You must be doing the "happy dance" all over the place That truly is a deal of a life-time there! You'll have to get over to one of the on-line recipe sites and see how many different things you can make. With fall around the corner, you'll be able to put alot of nice "homey" meals on the table.

I've never had a whole Black Forest ham, except sliced from the deli. It was delish, but "heavy" on the wallet.

    Loved your post!

    Theresa

...and the corn deal rocks too! but what is GFS? can't think of it.

They are a whole ham and each one 7.16 to 8 pounds each. Took a pic will post in a bit.. Found them in the deli area. There was a big stick that reads. No slicing for customer.. Usally if you buy a whole, ham, turkey roast.. They slice for free. I need ti invest in a slicer. a simple one.

Its kinda like SAMS and the large Food warehouses. They sell to resturants and people that hosting big events.. Its more bulk buying
