I had a few awesome bargain finds this week. (I sort of feel like a butt-inski because I don't post much, but I just have to share these!)
I needed (not wanted, NEEDED) a winter coat. I had my eye on on from Lands' End, because the one that was giving up the ghost lasted me more than 10 years. So, I was at St. Vincent's the other day, and I found a nearly identical one to what I wanted for $8.98, versus the $90.00 I was going to spend. $81.02 saved!
I also found some new barn boots to wear in the chicken coop. Those were only $4.75, so I easily saved myself $15.25 there.
Best bargain was a whole gallon of cream paint, plus the exact shade of green trim I wanted to re-do my home office. $1.50 for both! Amazing. I'll just take them to my local hardware guy for a good shake-up and I'll get painting next week. Easily saved $30.00 there.
It was a great bargain week! Over $125.00 not spent!
