Needing ideas for my dd's birthday party.
She will be 10, at the end of June. She is inviting several of her dance girlfriends, over for a sleepover. All of these girls are very rich. I need some ideas for goody bags, and menu!!!

When our DD turned 9 we did a slumber party. Instead of traditional goody bags we made pillowcases. I bought a really cheap white pillowcase for each girl and some fabric markers. Before the party I used fabric markers and in cutesy letters wrote each girl's name on a pillowcase. At the party we let them all autograph and decorate each others' cases. We took a piece of cardboard and placed it in each case so the marker would not bleed through to the back. DD is about to be a senior and I still have hers. I think each pillowcase was roughly $2 and the markers were less than $10 for a 4 pack.
Traditional goody bag ideas:
*small lotions
*nail polish
*lip gloss
*candy
*bath fizzies (sp?)
*bath poofs
Menu ideas:
Pizza, cookies, pig in a blanket, sliders, or chips and veggies with dip.
*You can also let the girls decorate their own cookies or cupcakes.
Hope you all have a blast!!!

I was at the dollar store today and they had a TON of stuff for a "luau" themed party
they had SUPER cute paper lanterns *of which I bought 4 for my deck and I LOVE them, so cute and colorful* you could have the girls bring swimsuits and blast some Jimmy Buffet and Beach Boys Play limbo outside, obstacle courses in the sprinklers
they have cute little grass skirts
if you're handy with Braiding you can braid the girls hair and put a few beads in them ala "vacation style I got ambushed by the lady braiding hair in Jamaica" you can rent beach themed movies
you can make frozen "mocktails" and serve them in martini glasses this site has neat recipes
Mocktails
you can make a firepit in the backyard, or use the fireplace to make smore's
you can have a hula hoop contest
water balloon toss
this site also has some cute ideas

What about a "spa" party where you all make your own bath bombs and bath salts and stuff?

My dd is almost 13 now, but for her 10th B-day, we had a blast with almost the same idea here, although I didn't think of the pillow case idea,(wish I had-it's such a great idea!). We used medium sized cosmetic cases that I had gotten from dollar tree.
To add to the goody bag ideas, we also used small hand lotions and lightly colored eye shadows.
Not only did the girls have a great time, so did I!!
Sending the best B-Day wishes your dd's way!!

It went good. They painted pillowcases, and made jewelry. They had fun.
