Jake the Dog pinata
Ds #3 will turn 14 tomorrow. His younger sister had a pinata for her birthday in September, which made him decide he'd like one for his. His sister's was one we bought at Walmart, but it was cardboard instead of paper mache and rather hard to break open. For his birthday, I made him a Jake the Dog pinata out of paper mache. I used wallpaper paste, newspaper, crepe streamers, and craft paint to assemble it. The base was a balloon. He seems to like it. They are going to break it open with his friends tonight at church.
Now his older sister wants one for her birthday in December. Hers will be Winnie the Pooh. She's autistic and that's her favorite thing.
