Default Planning Tyler's 2nd birthday party... Blues Clues!

I am getting ready for Tyler's 2nd birthday in a couple of weeks.
He has decided to love Blue... He calls her "Co Co".
So we are doing a Blues Clues theme for his party.
It will just be Tyler and his 4 cousins... ages 6-11.
I found a printable "Pin the Pawprint on Blue" game online. Also found some coloring pages for the kids to do or take home. I printed extra pawprints so we can play Blues Clues to figure out something... not sure what yet.
    Anyone have any other ideas?

Sherry that party is going to be so much fun for the kids, how about cake made in ice cream cups with blue frosting?

Mail Time... Makes me wanna wag my tail.... LOL
I could make a mailbox with a box and some construction paper. Have the favors in there like you said, Heather. Good idea!

I just found an idea to use a red pail and a yellow shovel with faces on them to serve potato chips. Like Shovel and Pail on the show.

That second link also has a cute certificate that says "____ figured out Blues Clues. I am really smart!"
I am making one for each kid.

Those are great ideas...... Things like blue Koolaid will be easy to find... Try decorating with paw prints and cut outs... Play a game like duck, duck, goose... by saying something like.... Tickity, tickity, tock, run like a clock...... Make paw print bean bags to toss into the pail..... Color some macaroni blue and Pink (magenta) and paint the spots on it. let them string them into necklaces.......to color macaroni, use rubbing alcohol and food color.....(See the link)... http://az.essortment.com/macaroninecklac_rjso.htm

Cut out shapes from construction paper and give them glue sticks and make their own place mats or pictures..... Kids love to go home with crafts... Give them wiggly eyes or cut some things out of shinny left over wrapping paper...
I'm sure he'll have a blast whatever you do..... You are so creative.... I can't wait to see what you do..... Have fun.....
