Help! Birthday ideas needed!

My daughters want an Australian outback adventure - themed birthday party!! Sort of a Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter type thing. I don't know WHERE they got the idea, but that's what they want. One daughter is turning 7 and the other is turning 10. I do their birthday party together because their birthdays are just 13 days apart.

I am in desperate need of ideas for decorations, games, party favors, cake decorating ideas, etc. I'm trying to find things that BOTH ages will enjoy. HELP!!!!!!!

~Pin the tail on the kangaroo?
~Or place the joey in the pouch?
~Get a blow up croc and have croc wrestling in a play pool?( I think you can get these now at Wal Mart in the pool section)


Have you done a google on Austrailia or Steve Irwin? That might be a good way to start. Good Luck!

Family Fun magazine had some ideas like this recently. If your library has magazines I suggest the October 2004 & February 2005 issues. I don't think I would do a good job explaining their ideas but Feb. issue has a Jungle Party article that would fit with a Croc cake, "Crocodile Alley" game, a pinata, & snack ideas. HTH
