Question Birthday Ideas for teen girl?????

I am at a loss as to what I should do for my daughter. She is turning 15.
The last two years my Dh was unemployed so all parties ceased and now that she is turning 15 she doesn't feel a "BD Party" is necessary. But I still want "her day" to be special.

What do you do for your older children...or young adults, on their birthday?

Now that we are beyond the balloons and cake stage.....I don't know what to do....Any Ideas would be appreciated!

Our kids get their choice of whatever homemade dinner or restaurant out that they want. I like the idea of a "pamper day" too!

That's part of the problem.... she isn't a very girly girl.....
she is a real outdoorsy/athletic kind a girl. Horses, camping, kayaking, racing.....well not traditional.....

And she has never gotten into make-up etc, and gets embarrassed if I even mention it "What's a mother to do?" She is very pretty...(some have called her gorgeous) with a figure to die for (oh to be young again).....but has just never got into the make-up thing....

If I were to do a "pamper" kind of thing...what would be a goodbeginner thing to do? It can't involve her feet because she is super ticklish LOL!

A favorite meal/dinner out is a good idea.

A meal out was what I thought of. When I turned 14, instead of a party, my auntie said I could pick 3 friends and go for dinner and then a movie OR pick 5 friends and make dinner/videos. I picked the going out (we were so poor the thought of restaraunt food was so exciting! lol). Good luck!

How about dinner and then an activity like bowling?

A trip to the mall with 1 or 2 close friends? A matinee movie and lunch at the food court on you.

Do you have a indoor rock climbing place near you? I know my dd just loved this. So much fun.

How about place that rents kayaks or river rafting?
