    Did you do anything special for your golden birthday?

    Mine is not for a few years but I was talking to some one the other day about his and it got me thinking.

    Mine was my 13th, so that was 40 years ago= I don't remember.

    I remember my mom telling me it was my golden.

    And I was now a teenager, so I s'pose it felt special.

    The golden birthday is what ever day your birthday is. So if you were born on the 10th your 10th birthday would be your golden birthday. My birthday is on the 31 so my 31st birthday would my golden birthday.

    You may find this interesting I was born on the 08th month of the 08th day, of the 1980th year LOL that means when I turned 8 years old in 1988 that would have been my Golden birthday I don't quite remember What I did back then considering that was almost 20 years ago.

    Mine was very laid back. I never knew it was called "golden birthday" though. Ever since I was a kid, I could NOT wait to turn 31 (b-day is July 31). Dh thought I was nuts when I told him on my 31st birthday that I was finally the same age as my birthday

    He wouldn't understand, his birthday is on the 3rd of November
