Default Need help with stuffed peppers recipe

My mom used to make stuffed peppers and even though I don't like peppers I loved the filling she put in it. It was a simple recipe but good. It did not have rice or onions in it.

Does anyone have a recipe that sounds like this?

    Thanks for any help

Hmmm. I use rice, but I would think you could just use some breadcrumbs, and make like a meatball or meatloaf mixture type thing? I'm a lot of help huh.... I'll do a search for you.

    I found this one:

Baked Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe @CDKitchen

You could just omit the onion.

We make asian style stuffed peppers. Not sure if its what you're looking for but you cut a pepper in 1/2's or 1/3's and put either seasoned ground fish or ground meat into it and steam until meat is cooked. Served with rice and some sort of homemade asian gravy/sauce.

We also stuff bittermelons, egglpants, cucumbers & zuc's.

Besides rice, I've used olives, tomatoes, croutons, and cheese.

Thank you Baxjul. It sounds like what she used to make. I will have to try it and see.

It stinks she did not write down any of her recipes. She passed so suddenly I didn't get a chance to ask her to. Like her Chicken Noodle soup, No matter what I do it does not come out like hers lol

Glad that I could help! They sound delicious. If peppers go on sale, I may need to try that recipe.
