    Default Pork steak recipe's needed

I have pork steak in the freezer. I don't know why I bought it again since no one likes it!!! I'm looking for a "non-starchy" recipe that the flavor will kill the pork flavor. Any ideas??? I'd sure appreciate it!

The only thing I've done with pork steaks is to fry them and then let them simmer a bit until tender. Add some mushrooms and onions.

Yesterday, mil cooked pork steaks and pork chops. I don't know how she did it, but they were seasoned really well and I know she had thick sliced tomatoes and onions cooked with it. It almost tasted like she added some Italian dressing to them. They were pretty good. It reminded me of how I cook swiss steak. I just season with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, add onions, tomatoes and green pepper.

I like to fix BBQ pork steak. I do them on the grill or in the oven. When I do them in the oven I put them in a pan, cover with foil and cook them at 350 till tender, then add either dry bbq seasoning or wet to them and cook about 15-20 more minutes.

What about slicing thin and putting with a teriyaki stir fry?

I put them on a foil lined pan , sprinkle with dry onion soup mix, spoon undiluted cream of mushroom soup over that -- seal in foil, tightly. Bake at 250 degrees for 2-3 hours.

The meat is tender and tasty.

Thank you!!!! I hate to toss them but I really hate pork and the guys don't like pork steak. I bet I'll love your ideas. If so we can add it to our menu on a regular basis. It seems to always be .99 a pound.
