Sweet Tea
Does anyone know of a recipe for tea "concentrate"? I would like to make it and have it on hand.

Do you mean frozen or dry?
I've never tried it, but what I'd do is add four tea bags to a cup of boiling water, let it steep to where you would if you were making a pitcher, add the sugar (1/2 cup for 2 qts) and then freeze that. You can always add more sugar if it's not sweet enough for you. Then just add water to the strength you want it.
Worth a try.

I purchase a mr coffee tea maker. I only use 2 bags for every 3 quarts I make. I use it all the time, best money for anything I have ever bought. It is hitting its 4th year. But makes tea in a snap.

I'll often steep my teabags in about 2 cups of water, then let it cool a few minutes. I then measure my sugar into a glass jar & pour the hot tea over that & stir til sugar dissolves. Put the lid on and keep this in the door of the fridge. We usually keep two on standby. In the middle of summer, sometimes I'll freeze some of the conc. in a ziploc container & then transfer to a gallon ziploc bag. Everyone knows it is one jar or one "ice tea" block per gallon.
