Grade school Turkey, gravy and potatoes?
I have had an urge for the grad school mashed potatoes and the gravy turkey stuff they put over it.
Anyone have any clue as to the gravy? I always thought that it was some of the greatest gravy ever.

I'm thinking that it was canned. With instant mashed potatoes. Does sound good though.

I am a lunch lady and the gravy comes in a powder form in a big bag and you add water.
It is a lot like the powdered gravy mixes in the store.

Have you ever seen the Banquet meals in the freezer section? You can usually get sliced turkey with gravy. I think its around $2 for 6 servings. If I remember correctly, it tastes just like the stuff from school. Just whip up some instant mashed potatoes.

Around Thanksgiving time last year we bought powdered turkey gravy at Sam's Club. It's sold in the spice aisle only around Thanksgiving and it's the closest I've ever found to that school gravy. Even my kids think so
