Recipes??
What is your number one (or two or three) favorite recipe when making food for a large family?? Just curious. We tend to just to stuff we can make in bulk, spagetti, meat with rice/potatoes, and the "generic stuff". Do any of you have different recipes, maybe casseroles or soups, crockpot?? Just wondering.

Off the top of my head I would have to say Spaghetti Bolognaise. Especially when I make it into a Pastitsio Bake. Spiral or macaroni ont he bottom, spag sauce on top the topped with a white sauce. If you make it with lots of tomato pasta sauce it extend the meat a long way.
Will keep thinking of other ideas.

Crockpot Chicken
- chicken pieces
- 1/2cup french dressing
- 1/2 cup apricot jam(home made apple jam or sauce works too).
- package onion soup.
This is great, kinda sweet and sour, my kids aren't adventurous eaters but love this.
Serve with rice and veggies.

Chicken or beef and noodles on mashed poatoes or chicken and dumplings. Any dish, like casseroles, which stretches a teeny bit of meat a long way.

Spaghetti, soups as in chicken, beef, minestrone, pork, or broccoli cheese.
Crockpot roasts, London broil (sliced diced or cubed) in the Crockpot for recipes like beef and peppers, fahitas, stroganoff, or beef stew.
Bbq anything for sandwiches in the crockpot.
Here is my favorite recipe for crock pot Beef Stroganoff it's not all that pretty to look at but it is good.
