How often do you wash your jeans?

Assuming 'clean' wear, with no visible soiling, no profuse sweating or the like, how often do you wash your jeans? I must confess, mine get washed every 3-4+ washes, depending on what I did that day- and I find myself snaking ds10's jeans out of the dirty wash to inspect to see if they 'need' washing, only to find they usually don't. Is this totally gross, or do many of you not wash them every time they are worn, given 'normal' use?

I wash mine every 3rd wear. For the kiddos I wash them every 2nd wear because I swear they roll in the dirt in them.

I have three pair. I wears jeans every day. I wash them once a week, unless they get very dirty or i get very sweaty. I spot clean them and hang them outside on a drying rack to air out sometimes. works for me.

I wash them when they either smell or are visibly dirty. Considering that I typically only wear them for a couple hours here and there, they aren't washed very often.

I probably wear mine 3-4 times per wash. I don't normally get too dirty in them, if I'm digging in the dirt I usually have shorts on.

depends - I have a pair that get stretched out every time I wear them, I wash them most every time I wear them. other wise, every 2-4 times, depending on what I did in them and how hot it was when I wore them sweaty=gross!

I wash every 3-4 washes. I live in jeans and if I washed everytime all I would be doing is laundry. It is less wear on the jeans as well.

I usually wear the same pair several days in a row and then wash them once per week. I have several pairs that I wear.

I'm like all the other posters. I usually wear them several times before washing. I have 5 pair of the same style/type jeans. I've had them 6 years. They are just now fading and only one pair seems to have worn more than the others.

I don't wear mine very often, usually a couple of hours here and there. I only have one pair. I was them when they get too baggy as they don't usually get dirty.

I guess I am the odd bird here , I wash mine after each wearing. I wash all of my everyday clothing after they have been worn for a day. They automatically go in the laundry hamper when I take them off. My only exception is my dry clean only items, they are all special occassion clothing and so I wear them a couple of times before I have them cleaned.

You are not alone. We are the same way here. Everything gets washed after each wearing.

I only wear casual clothes for a few hours at a time so it's not dirty very soon. I'll use the same pair of jeans all week and then wash them.
