laundry cold water wash question
Just starting to wash in cold water. I have a question.
Can you safely put light load and dark load clothes in the same load if washing in cold water?
Example jeans and dark dress pants and a white shirt all in the same load.

I wash in cold water, but I still wash darks and whites separate on the off chance that something will fade or stain the whites. I wash light colors with whites with no problem.

Never would I put a white shirt in with jeans..I would think even in cold h20, it would dull the white shirt. But, I've never tried it. I wash in cold..but still separate clothes..from habit-I'm sure.

Separate...I only use cold with the exception of his work clothes. But still separate.
