Mud and Laundry
I can't figure or the life of me how to get mud stains off of our clothes. It has been quite muddy around here with all the snow we got this past winter and now it's all melting, as soon as you step outside you have mud on you, lol I notice the mudstain more on the lighter colored clothing than on the jeans? Would anyone know how to deal with mud stains? I use Tide and even let that sit on it for awhile but doesn't seem to help? Thanks.

My hubby works construction and comes home covered in mud. I found that you have to use the hottest water possible and let the clothes sit overnight in the washer soaking in the detergent and water. Even that does not work all the time. I've also had a bit of luck with adding some dishwasher detergent to the washload.

We have a lot of mud around here too lately. I make my own laundry spray with 1/4 c Tide and 1/4 c amonia in a 22 oz spray bottle filled the rest of the way with water. The only things this hasn't got out are jello and mustard. I just spray before washing. Ds is always getting mud on his white Karate Uniform and this works great!
