Strange laundry finds

I just found a balloon in my washing machine. My kids are almost 18 &19... wonder where it came from??

What are some of the wierd things you've found in the wash?

My girls always leave earrings in their pockets.

My fave find is MONEY! The rule here is that the washerwoman keeps whatever she finds that is GREEN PAPER!

As far as weird stuff, it's hard to say. Never had a balloon though!

Found out where the balloon came from. Mark went to a banquet the other day for the Caverns and someone told him to keep it forever. Hmm another story there & I bet and knowing Mark, I'll never hear about it.

I keep money in my tips jar.

Ball bearings from the car. DH shoves stuff in his pockets and when he can't find em he goes and gets more...forgetting the old ones are in his pockets!

money, cards, chapstick, keys, hotwheels....

A credit card was in my dryer the other day. I was glad DH didn't see that- he hates it when I carry them in my pockets!

I used to work in a laundrymat my senior year of HS. I can tell you maxi pads do not wash and dry too well. And I still havn't figured out why a grown man would carry a pair of woman's undies in his pocket. Oh yeah, it was a drycleaners too, so the things I found in pockets are a whole other topic itself.

But for at home, rocks in my DS's pockets definitely top the list.

I keep the money I find in a tip jar as well!! that's my favorite find of all!

hmmmm I find all sorts of toys,rocks,flowers,money,crayons,pens,markers,chapstick,notes (from ash and her friends) Not sure what else....


And the same rule applies here as well.....any found money is MINE.Any notes found means she wanted me to read them
