    Default Monthly Quilting/Sewing Retreat 2010

Sew, Quilt, knit, crochet, whatever you like to do. Join your FV friends all over the internet the first weekend of each month. It'll kick off your sewing for the month or allow you to finish up last month's ufos!

Starts on Friday the first weekend of the month and runs through that Sunday. Work it into your schedule, put it on your calendar! No rules, just do what you want/need to do and as Frugal Fannie would say post pictures!!!!!

Feb 5- 7 ...... get those machines oiled, and run some bobbins!

How do people sew and type at the same time?

Or do you just check in later?

    I'm in!

MW - you just check in whenever you want over the weekend.

I got so much done during the last one that I want to do it again.....at least until summer. I don't do much crafting in the summer as I am too busy with the garden and stuff but until then, I have a ton of stuff to do.

    Thanks vicki!!!

I think I will be doing two quilted tablerunners or maybe a set of sleeping pants I have never followed one of those tissue papers patterns before so it might take me the whole weekend just to figure that out!

Debbie - if you have something that you absolutely love that cannot be used or worn anymore, you could always cut it apart and use that as your pattern too.

My advice - make sure the arrows that show where to place the pattern on the grain of the fabric are correct.

And of course - just do it!! I think you will be amazed at all you can do!!

Vickilynn - love your prep work - that's one of my favorite parts - prepping and planning (not necessarily in that order!!)
