Did anyone watch it tonight?

I loved the dude with the broken wrist and that one 16 yr old was great. Well many was and many laughs.

I can't believe it's that time of year again!

Yes, American Idol is one of my shows.

I was surprised to see the 16 year old daughter of someone I 'know' from the internet. I've read Barbara Curtis' blog for years, although it's being revamped and has been down for some time now. Anyway, Maddie was the girl who had her parents and two of her Down's Syndrome brothers with her at her audition. Barbara and her husband Tripp have a LARGE family, and she is an advocate for education and Down's awareness.

I turned it on to see what all the hubbub was about. No, I've never watched it.

I watched less than 1 minute.
I tuned in just in time to see some guy TRY to sing Ring of Fire. OH MY GOD. Do people that bad actually THINK they have a shot at winning?? It was too painful to watch.

I admit... I am an 'audition watcher' and chances are I won't watch again until the next season... well, only if Simon is still there. This is suppose to be his last season because he's bringing X Factor here.

I liked a few of them... and of course the one from my town was BAD

I haven't watched since Carrie Underwood won a few years ago, but DH was home the other night and since nothing was on he wanted to see how auditions went. Simon was right Pants On The Ground is turning into a hit. I liked the young girl and the cop.

People go on there for the kicks and plus it's just funny. You would have to watch the whole season to understand. When the show gets to the top twelve, that is my favorite and such awesome talent!

I heard that this year was the lowest turn out. I am sure there are lots of talented people out there trying to get discovered.

Really? I guess I wouldn't be surprised. Idol is making so many changes now. I think Randy signed a two year contract so next year might be it's last and of course with it being Simon's last year.
