    Default "Old" TV shows

DH and I are watching MacGyver with the boys. It's on Netflix streaming and we've started watching a lot of shows that way. The boys are really enjoying it too.

What are some recommendations for good family shows?

I love the Twilight Zone but that may not sit to well with your 9 year old. How about Bewitched or I Dream Of Jeannie? Hannah

    Star Trek: TNG (next generation)
    Star Trek: TOS (original series)
Firefly (don't know how old that series is)

My guys are watching a Merlin series (think it is British) right now.

Hart to Hart. Tales of the Gold Monkey.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.

If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.

~My kids really like The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Carol Burnett Show(though this one has some content that isn't always suitable for young children) and I Love Lucy. They too enjoyed watching MacGyver with us last year. We're about to start The Andy Griffith Show.
Other suggestions: The Adam's Family, Little House on the Prairie, The Cosby Show~

We don't have a subscription to anything so I don't know if some of these are available or not.

    Simon & Simon
    Fantasy Island
PROBE - only lasted 2 months or so because of the writers strike in the 80's

    Classic cartoons like
    He-Man
    She-Ra
    Justice League
    Spiderman

    HULU and TV.com have
    The Pink Panther

    Underdog
    Robotech

My guys liked "Dead Like Me", but they are also a little older (13, 13, and 15).
