well I had breakfast out....and a nice long visit with my sisters, one of whom I only see when we get together on Sundays so I don't regret it.
Worked on my year stockpile challenge...finished my books on how much I want to buy and then took a quick inventory of what I have. November is Month 1 to get together a year of dry staple and canned foods as fast as possible but on a budget.
took another look at the monthly budget
Stayed home other than breakfast.

I'm glad you got this started. We had a very productive day.
We got the garden put to bed and added homemade compost and chicken manure. Dh also blew the leaves to the street for pick up.
- Hung laundry
- washed ziploc bags
- put up 10 quarts of pumpkin puree from pumpkins a friend gave me
- unfortunately had to make an after dinner run to CVS to get ds's prescription (didn't tell me he was out, until he was totally out) and picked up a free tube of toothpaste while there.
- the kids are all sick, so am I, so we aren't really going anywhere
- a nice day, so I turned off the heat and opened all the windows, trying to air the place out.
- spent the day yesterday at dd's gymnastics meet, but only bought my ticket in and a program. I brought all my food and drinks, although I didn't eat much because I have strep throat and it hurts too much to swallow. I wonder if I will lose weight? That could be a bonus.
- dinner was pancakes from scratch, easy on the throat
- returned library books while I was out tonight, so I wouldn't get fined
- homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning

~ tried to be very careful about turning off lights, etc.

this weekend wasn't too expensive nor did i save.
11/2 I worked all day on my price book with coupon pouches. I will post pics later when i am finished...I am hoping this will help me save lots of money and help keep me on my grocery challenge.
11/3 am at work and eating from the freezer. this afternoon, i will be going to the grocery store for my company. i am started to fix food and put in the freezer at work, so we only have to remove and heat to eat. i don't much care for all the frozen dinners...too much salt and perservatives.
