Made pizza and a loaf of bread. About 6" of snow here and many schools closed. Deciding if I want to drive to work Monday (would rather not - sheesh.) Need to go to bed early as did not sleep much for the plow trucks going by all night.

Up early with headache. Working at soup kitchen, mailing pkg to Dmom, have to buy a large purse and then volunteer meeting tonight. Going to make pumpkin bread to take to DD. I’m ready to be on the plane.

This payday was smaller than usual. Spent very little at the store. Plenty in the freezer and pantry. Today I have ham and bean soup in the crockpot. Will make corn bread later. Only money to spend this payday will be for dog food, gas and fresh fruit.

not much happening here. still sunny..shows fingerprints and all tiny bits of dust. spring allergies already so popped a pill brain dead. just watching pvr'd hallmark xmas movies and puttering. asked ds to unload the dishwasher so he put all the stuff in the dish drainer so he can empty that after school. rest of xmas lights and outside stuff needs to go in the attic tonight. then I can do a proper vacuum. run the dishwasher again etc. lots of dvds and books from library to go though. dh picked up milk/bread last night so just need to get some fresh fruit/potatoes and unscented pet litter tomorrow. the scented litter is driving my allergies nuts. why do they think extra perfume makes it last longer.

LL, your baby goat is adorable! I would get nothing done, I would just be hanging out with her. (or him)

Rabbit - I would love to sit by the window and watch the baby goat all day but unfortunately I have to work and tomorrow I go to New Orleans for the rest of the week. DH said it was outside and following mommy around - bouncing along. lol

Yesterday we took a pork roast out of the freezer and cooked it in the crockpot with carrots, mushrooms, potatoes and onion. I made gravy from the broth. no drive no spend day.

Today I took lo to work for lunch and packing for tomorrows trip to New Orleans. I pick the rental car up at 12 and it's a 3 hour drive.

LL, why does work always have to get in the way of fun?!

I have chili in the crockpot for dinner, still have to make a salad and maybe I'll make some cornbread to go with it. I have to return a couple of books and a puzzle to the library and have some requests ready to pick up. Might take Beastie with me and take her for a walk at the park while I'm out. I don't really feel like doing this but she needs it. The only other plans I have for the day are to try to keep up with what needs to be done in the house.
