32 again this morning but supposed to get to 50. Hope to get out to the grocery today. Need to go to PO, too. Housework and laundry, too, but don't feel like doing much of anything and I can't sleep, so....

Italian sausage with zucchini noodles tonight. DH took leftovers for lunch, and I have same for my own lunch.

GB, happy anniversary and hope you feel better soon.

M, great finds on the tea and stuff.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I stopped at the shelter on the way home from work to drop off the bag of dog food I had for foster dog. When I got home I texted the foster coordinator about something and she asked if I was interested in fostering another dog. I wish I would have known when I was at the shelter, I could have met her. Oh well, I agreed to foster so will have to figure out a day to go back there. Dinner tonight will be fish, baked potatoes, salad and veggies. Using woodstove for heat.

Snowing here - sloppy wet mush. I hope it does not freeze tonight. Salad for supper, I just made HB eggs and homemade dressing. Had some leftover egg whites I think will put in tapioca pudding.

Had a non-frugal day today - my day out. Started at the blood donor center, iron was too low. Went to 3 thrift stores, got some new-to-me clothes. I need some clothes that are not boring. The large thrift store was having a craft sale so got a bunch of nice quilt fabric, kits, etc for resale on Ebay/Etsy. Got a lot of stuff I need at WM. Got a roll of solid gold (so all-purpose) wrapping paper at Kmart, 90% off after Xmas, 49 cents. Got a bottle of Irish Cream at the state liquor store, didn't spring for the brand name. Spent about $200 in all, or close to it.

Had a coupon on phone for a free slice of pizza at the convenience store, of course the phone died as I was about to redeem it, so that cost me a $. Worth it though, I was SO hungry and it was really good. Went home and had leftover pasta fagioli.

Quick grocery trip turned into way more driving than I wanted. Needed specific things this week so had to go to two stores in different directions, then an accident on the way home sent me on the long route back. Lot of traffic for a Tuesday, can't figure out why.

Taught a piano lesson today and finally sold those boys clothes for $10! All lunches were packed from home and we had dinner at home.

Spent my monthly allowance on Christmas gifts for this year.....I stacked them all in my closet TOGETHER so I won't forget....I found a tote filled with gifts I got last year and forgot about.....will be a big Christmas this year....lol

Packed up two Little Kitty throws and sucked the air out of the bag and got two in a banker box....we taped the bag and then put it in a box and wrapped it tight....I'll drop in the mail tomorrow and hopefully it gets there by Saturday...both are for my sisters great granddaughters....the little one is having a birthday in January but can't send one without sending something for the other even tho they don't live in same house.....

Blood pressure has been high for last four days....finally going down but still not "normal." I'm feeling better but not 100%....

Have a pile by the door to donate....another pile for food pantry....and another pile for grandson...two boxes for my young friend...

BookwormPeg—Hope you are feeling better. Take it easy.

Going to sew and then do a mystery shop tonight. Our eldest DS and his wife are having terrible car problems. Her mother has let them drive two old clunkers for years and they have maintained them. He called last night desperate for help getting a decent car. DH and I are going to try and find a decent used vehicle. I’m sure it won’t be to his liking, but it is what it is. We really can’t afford to help much, but are going to try.

Wonderful sunny day today, supposed to warm up. Going to enjoy it. Have some housework to do, then sewing. May go out for lunch because I can.

Took care of groceries yesterday. Not sure how 6 items turns into >$100, but it did. Ok, there were two bottles of wine, and a package of chicken (but it was on sale) but that was less than half of it. Lot of snacks for DH's lunches, those add up, I guess.

Got leftover bbq for sandwiches, and kale slaw for dinner.

Going to start packing up the holiday decorations. That should help with some of the clutter.

Hope everyone has a great day.

peg, hope your BP resumes to normal sooner rather than later.

Had to see my Dr. today, still no answers for my on going issues so I have to see some specialists. The first one can't see me until Feb. 11. The way this is going I will not be diagnosed until summer, or so it feels.
I wanted to stop at my favorite resale store when I was in the city but it was getting close to rush hour so just headed home.

Not doing much today. Going to casino this afternoon to get my gift. This month the gifts are bedding: pillow, down comforter, duvet, and sheet set. I really don’t play much, but somehow got on the free list. I’m not complaining. My kids loved all the stuff I got for them for Christmas.

Cat has a vet appt this afternoon and I have some errands to run first.

Looks like chicken pot pie for dinner.

Rabbit, I hope you're feeling better soon. It's frustrating not knowing what is going on.

Client sent me flowers today - beautiful but the lilies have such a strong smell. I brought them home and put in a large open area so hopefully it does not become a problem. Free lunch at work yesterday (good deli stuff) and today (pizza - not as wonderful.) Snow has melted and temperatures are supposed warm up again. Hams on sale 99 cents/lb so I really need to grab one this time.

Taught a piano lesson and made some money today. Didn't spend any money and we all ate our meals from home.
