Fleece Blankets

Ok I was just wondering how to make the frindges on these blankets. I guess that I should be asking my mom on this. I want to make some for gifts in my family. My youngest nephew has one. Plus I have seen alot of them around. Just couris on how to make them.

They're easy and fun. I don't sew but I've managed to make the blankets.

Lay your two pieces of fabric out and trim so they're the same size. I clip the corners together with clothespins, but that's just me. Take scissors and make a small cut (about 3" or so) every inch or two all the way around, through both layers of fabric. Then tie the two layers together. Voila!

I don't know if I explained that very well.... I did a quick search and found this link with pictures: http://www.womenbygrace.com/home006.html . Cutting out the corners the way they do would make it easier.

Thanks for the tips. I will have to try this on my own verses going to my mom everytime. That is the goal for me atleast.

Take it from me...Learn everything you can from Mom because one day she will not be around for you to ask. I learned the hard way! Many times I just needed to ask something simple but just didn't want to bother her with such trivial things...Now I wish I had that option. Enjoy her while you can...No one knows, like mom knows.

Did you ever get an answer to your question? If you're talking about the no sew fleece blankets, I've made about 25 or more of them over the past few years. If you still need an answer, just reply to this. Thanks.
